Width at base is not adjustable

I bought this because the description indicated it was adjustable down to 35", which it it is not. When I was attaching the sure-clips, I had to pinch the sides in to try to get it to fit into my 36" raised garden bed, which it would not and then the arch got bent. If you are ok with the standard 45" base, this may work for you, but not if you expect it to be able to go to 35"
