It was and it easy to install if your comfortable with installing light fixtures! It was a beautiful upgrade for our entrance where we needed to replace a high ceiling light fixture! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautiful light. I have the color Alturas Gold. It is not a bright gold but a very subdued gold. I posted a picture of some of the parts bext to a gold picture frame I had. The light is huge. The 15 inches is not the height but the width. READ the dimensions. It will not work in my current home because I have 7ft ceilings. I am in the process of building and it will work in my new home. I will have to find another light to stage my current home. I am going to put this in my entry way. It is going to make a statement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I could not be happier with this light. There was nothing to put together, it comes in a large box, packaged well so nothing was damaged. It was easy to install, according to my husband , using the included instructions and accessories. He installed this in our entry way, which is 2-story, about 26 feet high. The size is perfect because of the vaulted ceilings. It is well built, it hangs evenly and in the position it was installed in, no need to move it around to keep it square. This chandelier replaced the builder grade one that came standard with our house. This light is beautiful, sturdy, and lightweight. It gives off a decent anoint of light too. It is a beautiful addition to our house. Excellent quality.

An boy did this 4 panel lantern style light did the job. The design of the light is just sleek an the panels add that finishing touch to the piece. The panels do not have glass an that is what gives it the design for me. It hangs on a chain which gives you that option of how high or low you'd prefer to have it. I would recommend higher ceilings for this light for it's a pretty decent size piece. If your not familiar with electrical work I would recommend an electrician. But you will not be disappointed in this piece. An the installation only took around 15-20 minutes to complete but again that's only if you're familiar with electrical work if not definitely hire a professional!.
