i wanted to try the zinc carnosine, as i had read it can help heal your stomach lining.I had severe acid reflux, couldn't swallow much, and had lost 60 lbs from not being able to eat.I started taking the zc, and have taken it faithfully every day.It has made a world of difference in how I feel!I have been to 5 different doctors who said they couldn't help me and just dropped the ball-even one suggested surgery.I was taking 4 different stomach pills.Now I take none. The zinc carnosine is AWESOME! I will definitely refill it and stay on it!

If you are wanting to get off of PPI's and can do so safely, I recommend this product and the DGL to do this. It was really rough but about 3 weeks later my Gerd is starting to be in remission. You can spend a lot more for zinc carnosine but i cannot complain about the quality of Swanson products.

Highly recommend Zinc Carnosine it’s very effective on intestinal discomfort.

It seems OK. I believe it adds a small by necessary amount of zinc to our diet, and perhaps helps prevent bacteria and nasty antigens from penetrating the intestinal wall.

I did my own research after doctors could not help me and wanted to run me through more, expensive tests. I found a Japanese study on Zinc Carnosine and tried it. Finally, I found relief. I have already recommended it to others with similar issues.

I had severe gastritis two years ago and could tolerate only a handful of foods, chicken, fish, eggs, and peanut butter. I read about zinc carnosine being proven in peer reviewed studies as being the most effective to heal the stomach lining. When I first took it I felt a little stomach bloat, but I only took one capsule a day for the first week and the bloat stopped. I was then able to take 3 capsules with no problem. I noticed a difference in feeling better within two weeks. It still took a long time - adding in only one new food item every few weeks, slowly, but meanwhile the zinc carnosine was working. I'm able to eat anything now except carbonated drinks. I'm totally convinced the zinc carnosine is the main contribution to my healing, along with careful, strict diet. My friend is taking it now for healing esophagitis and has been able to cut way back on taking antacids. I highly recommend it for anyone with gastritis or esophagitis. Start with only one capsule for a few days in order to build up tolerance, then increase to full strength. Swanson's brand is the best since it has the perfect ratio of ingredients.

Zinc helps the immune system and so far I’ve stayed well. I would not want to be without it during these times.

I have heard that zinc is important in preventing and fighting illnesses such as colds, flu, and COVID-19--along with other supplements. I don't remember how much I paid for the Zinc Carnosine, but it was not expensive. I have no way of knowing how effective it is, since I don't know what my condition might be if I was not using it. I am also using other supplements such as vitamin C and iodine--but I ran out of iodine. I will have to say that I am satisfied with it.

I'm really happy with it...much improved digestive function.

Use for stomach issues as it's described to help. I often mix with marshmallow root and or slippery elm too.
