Not the icon

Great frame design, very sturdy for how much it weighs. Battery doesn't last as long as I'd like, and I wish there was more torque and top speed. Would much rather ride the razor icon.

Be Carful

This is a great scooter. I have had it for a little over a year now and the battery is still powerful. I’ve only had to inflate the tires once and the range is exactly what I expected. BUT be careful, the scooter has an opening which but my thumb an left it swollen for a couple of day. If I had opened it with any more force I may have broken the bone. The injury occurred when the scooter was being opened in between the hinge of the scooter when opening. Over all the scooter is great but I thought it is important for people to know about this one design flaw.

Trash Scooter. All specs are lies

I bought my scooter about a year ago. I rode it for about 8 months and had to put it into storage. I weigh 170lbs. This scooter never got past 15mph which I guess isn't too bad for their estimate. But I also never got more than 3 MILES. Right from day 1. That's horrendous when compared to the 15 miles advertised. Also, the headlights stopped working like 4 months in and I had to buy a detachable torch. At the time of writing, the wheels are worn and I can't see myself ever using this scooter again. Terrible purchase.

Good product, poor customer service

Good scooter at a competitive price. Terrible customer service. Lost order initially and it too long to cancel and reorder.

Best Electric Scooter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Razor Prime III Electric Scooter was super simple to set up and easy to use. My husband and I feel like kids again fighting over who will use it first.

Amazing Scooter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved this electric scooter. It is a little heavy for me as a non-athletic woman, but it is so easy to use. It charges just fine, and it even has a headlight for using it at night. I drove for a while and the battery still looked as if it was fully charged. I think this would be perfect for areas where a short walk would allow you to get some errands done.

Trusted name and extreme fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This scooter has been such a joy to our family. Our 16 month old loves riding on it with me (in a baby Bjorne and with a helmet). The battery lasts for the advertised 50 minutes at a minimum but I haven't experienced a situation where it completely died. It does lose speed as the battery wears down but it's still just as fun. The wheels are very grippy and I've even ridden it in wet conditions (no baby) without any issue. It charges fairly quickly and can get to a usable state within 30 minutes and almost all the way within an hour. The handlebar grips and throttle/brake levers are ergonomically comfortable and it feels as if the brake has anti-lock technology built in. So you shouldn't expect to be skidding all over the place. Overall, this scooter is a blast and provides a great opportunity to make countless memories with your family/friends.

Awesome Electric Scooter that Folds

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Razor E Prime III Folding Electric Scooter is a awesome fun ride. I had a lot of time to really check it out before being able to use it as the weather was so crummy the past few weeks but when I was finally able to ride and test it out I had a great time. It is easy to ride and balance on. The electric scooter comes equipped with a working headlight and break light. While I do wish the break light was brighter, as it is so small and close to the the ground, it does light up decently in the dark. It is easy to fold up and when folded up it is smaller than my son's compact stroller (for those that like to have a size reference). The battery indicator display is a nice feature to have so you know when you need to be heading back home. As for the speed, it is what I consider an acceptable speed (when going full throttle) for something you stand on while riding. The rear wheel is an airless flat free tire as well so that is nice to have. The only real downside is the charge time (8 hours) for about 55 minutes of ride time. So, you spend a good amount of time during the day charging it if you use to to get around. Overall, the Razor E Prime III Folding Electric Scooter is a great electric scooter and I recommend it to everyone. You won't be disappointed with this electric scooter!

Great Electric Scooter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The scooter is a little heavy, but it does move well. It gets up to about 10 mph, but I am also a little heavier so my weight also contributed to slower speeds than advertised. The scooter instructions says to charge up to 8 hours, but even when drained almost to 0% it was fully charged in under 5 hours using the provided wall charger. I liked having the light for a few night rides that I did around the neighborhood, but it is a little too bright for oncoming cars. I had a few neighbors tell me that it blinded them when riding towards them. The scooter handles well on dry and wet roads. I had to ride on the grass to avoid a family and some dogs in one area... it will not run on grass at all. It did well in loose gravel, sand, even some mud, but NO GRASS. The scoot has a great design and feel, but may be too heavy for ladies. The one thing I did not like very much is the ability to fold the scooter for storage. Since the scooter is so bottom heavy it makes it a bit harder to fold it without smashing your hands or knocking your head with the handle bar. It's a nice feature, but I don't like it very much. Overall, I was impressed by the ride time and reliability of the materials.

Such a fun scooter in a compact package

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whether heading down the street to a friend's house, or around the corner to the market, this scooter is so much fun to ride. It only requires an easy push-off, a small flick of the thumb, and you're off. It's a really great feeling to ride this through the streets and get to your destination much more quickly than by walking. The headlight is very bright at night, and the rear light/brake light adds a welcomed sense of safety. The scooter folds up into a very compact form, and is pretty easy to carry. The brakes work really well, and stop you quickly and safely. I really enjoy riding this scooter, and I actually kind of get excited when my wife has a quick errand for me to run that I can take my scooter. The build quality is top-notch and I would, without reservation, recommend this scooter to anyone looking to buy a scooter for themselves.

Works even if you slightly exceed weight limit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was ecstatic to receive the Prime III Electric Scooter and was looking forward to testing it out. Then I got the box in person and my heart sank slightly- The weight limit is 225lbs, I had recently clocked in at just over 250. I was determined to still test this item and enjoy it all the same. And then the pandemic hit. So I still enjoyed it but on a much scale. I grabbed my much smaller wife and ran to the park on a nice day and kept a distance from anyone else who was around (there weren't that many). Here is our results: -Speed: When the instructions say start going at 3 mph, they mean it. We found that 3 solid kicks were good but even going down a hill was better. It did have some issues going up hills (more so with my heavier frame but I don't count that against it, it wasn't made for that weight). Having some momentum behind it really helps the motor. -Battery: We were out for about 30-45 minutes, switching between 2 riders and this battery went down one 'bar', that's impressive. It does take a long initial charge but honestly, the pros outweigh the cons, just leave it charging overnight before you want to use it -Brakes/Braking: If I were to take a star off, it would've been because of this. Don't get me wrong, the braking works and works well (there's a reason I didn't take the star off). But You as the rider have to be careful with how you break, as you would with any motorized vehicle. Brakes on these type of things tend to want to throw you over the front (especially if they are front brakes, which this one Isn't) and I still got that general feeling, when I did the foot brake. However, my wife suggested to try the hand brake instead and it worked a bit better, but only slightly so. It's still a great system overall as the hand brake itself does it more in a gradual way rather than all at once. It shows that the designer of it/the system overall was wanting to improve. There's still room, but far less than previous versions. -Weight: Carrying this thing around when not in use is a bit cumbersome but not unwieldy. This comes in handy when moving as the scooter doesn't feel like it's going to fall apart/shake too much at higher speeds -Handlebars: My wife and I are different heights and neither of us had issues holding on while moving. (We usually have to adjust heights to our liking) -Stability: While I never got around to messing with the balance of the scooter, my wife played around like we all do and she said it's better balanced those scooters of the full manual variety. -Environment handling: While we avoided the bigger bumps and dips, this scooter handled the smaller stuff with easy. There's not a lot of clearance so I do suggest to keep it on the more leveled ground though. -Overall: The Prime III Electric Scooter is a great scooter and works even if you're slightly above the recommended weight limit (I'd still stick below it though to get the full value)

Fun and practical

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the electric razor! It is fast and enjoyable. I feel safe riding it because there is a front light and a tail light that anyone can see in the night. It slows down fast and even has a foot break if you need it. The charge on it runs for a long time making for an enjoyable and great way to commute or just get around the neighborhood.

Awesome smooth riding

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setup was very easy just had to unscrew and screw a few knobs. The razor is fairly large and feels very sturdy. There is a light at the front when riding at night and the turn on is at the bottom front. Riding was very smooth and felt secure I was able to ride it around my neighborhood and the ride time last quite some time. Overall I was very happy with the time and the ride was smooth.
