I've taken L-Arginine since the 1980's...Pearson and Shaw Life extension would preach the benefits back in the day using it specifically for stimulating more growth hormone release which declines as you age so its a key factor in keeping you younger and slowing the aging process. Now they have this new form of Arginine AKG which is better absorbed so more effective. I'm in my 50's now and I'm using this again for the production of more nitric oxide and for muscle recovery for working out.. i also take it in the middle of the night getting up after urinating and feel the results in the morning of the increase in growth hormone production.. i can feel it with a tightness in my face...go ahead and laugh but it works...try it for yourself... it makes a difference ..

I have loved this for a long time. Helps my nitric oxide generation in turn widening my blood vessels to help with my high blood pressure.

Drops B.P. by 5-10 mmHg. Have to monitor the lengh of this effect,though. It should vary with diet as well as with degree of stress. Otherwise no side effects and proves to be useful.

From what I read in various articles, Arginine is not really the best nitric oxide enhancer. My understanding is that beet root is better.

I have tryed other arginine brands but they all upset my stomach . You cant go wrong with this brand . I take 5 grams an hour before my workout and 4 grams on my day off in the morning .
