Q: I have a 6 ft wide clsoet, but after installing the shelving system, the provided rods will not fit on either side of the unit as described in the featured photo.

Rods do not fit.

So dissappointed in this system. I have a 6ft W closet, and the featured photos show exactly how the system can be set up depending on closet size. The provided rods do not actually fit the system in a 6 ft closet, which of course you won't find out until the shelving is built and installed. I now have to source additional pieces and additional tools in order to make the rods fit on either side of the shelving. I would return this entire thing but that would require dissembling the entire shelving unit, which will waste even more of my time. On top of that the system itself is flimsy. Invest in better system if you can.
