Unique Vintage Women's Plus 1950s Sweetheart Lamar Swing Dress Black 4X/28W-30W

I ordered it for bf’s birthday and he loved it as much as me ! Fits well but a little bit too big especially at breast when I set down

Haven’t had a chance to wear it out yet (my fella has promised to take me somewhere nice where I can debut it though), but I did look cute wearing it in my bedroom, or so my dog assures me. My only issue with the fit was that it was a little tight in my shoulders (along with my arms and bust to a lesser extent), but honestly I have fairly broad shoulders and I was by myself when I tried it on so I just wiggled into it without unzipping it, and I think it bunched up in some places when I did that. But, hey, I was able to get into it without unzipping it and it still looks cute, so I can’t say too many negative things about the fit. Good quality. I adore the sweetheart cut of the bodice and the length of the skirt. I got the recommended crinoline too, and that really makes it look gorgeous, but I think it’d even be cute without it…but also life’s too short to NOT wear crinoline. Overall, this was the first dress I ever bought from here after admiring their clothes for quite awhile and I am not at all disappointed! I will DEFINITELY be buying more from here!

Fits great! I’m going to wear this to a college event and I’m sure it’ll be more than appropriate hehe.

I love the stretchy material of this dress, the length of the torso is perfect for me, and it looks super flattering on me. But there is an obvious flaw in the bust, and it's a huge issue. The darts have been mis-sewn and come to a point that sticks out off of the bust. And there is no way any boob of any size could fill it, it's a bizarre point. And even if it was intended, each breast would be aimed off to the sides and look pointy like a cone. Clearly, the pictures show a smooth, rounded bust on the model. I see a few other reviewers had this same issue, but others didn't seem to. So I can only guess this is a quality control issue. Now I either have to pay to return the dress or have it tailored.

It's so incredibly beautiful. The material is stretchy and comfortable. It flatters the figure and I am plus size. I also have one in green, it's most definitely my favorite. I did add an overlay skirt on it for an entirely new look, it's so versatile.

This dress is lovely. It has a bit of stretch to the fabric and fits true to the measurements. What doesn’t show up in the photos if you don’t fill out the bust it has points like it was meant for a bullet bra or the cones Madonna used to wear. I needed to have it altered to wear since the deflated points aren’t attractive. But I ended up looks fabulous in the dress and had a great time.

This dress made me feel like a pretty pretty princess. It only took a few days to get the dress and it fit perfectly and true to size. I highly recommend them!

Bought this to go to a wedding last minute. It fit perfectly. The material is stretchy but flattering. Was long enough to cover past my knee which usually is a problem for me so if you are petite you might need to them the bottom. Going to wear it again for halloween as a classy pin up witch.

I really wanted to love this dress, but as a bigger girl it was not flattering at all. I have larger breasts so the whole Madonna/pointed booby cups only made it look worse. The fabric felt cheap as well. Might be right for someone else, but definitely not me. :(

Beautiful dress designed with a 1950’s flair. Material gas a bit of stretch for comfort and fit. Very flattering. Bought this for a friend. She loves it!

The dress is perfect... EXCEPT the tip of the breast dart has a 1/2 spot for your nipple??? We tried pinning it, folding it, we have taken it to an alteration place. They didn’t know if they could fix it either. It was to be her wedding dress. We have now bought another dress in case it cannot be fixed.

I loved the dress and how it fit. My only issue with the dress were with the shoulders which would slip down so I had them tacked to fit me. I received a lot of compliments and would definitely recommend this beauty.

This dress is sooo chíc! I absolutely adore it! It runs a little bit big however so I’d order a size down!

This dress is my favorite and it is so cute with a corset overlay! It is also a little stretchy so it fits my curves! You just need a low bra so that the dress looks seamless.

The shoulder part kept getting rolled witch was a lil annoying

Very comfortable and true to size. However, there were a lot of visible threads on the chest and sleeve area, and the rose button was lopsided. I'll have to fix it on my own. I'm also sad that it doesn't have pockets. It's a nice dress with a lovely shape, but it wasn't worth the price tag in my opinion.
