Teamson Home Potomac Modern Boho Solid Wood Sideboard with 3 Drawers, 2 Doors, Adjustable Shelf, & Push to Open Storage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This review is written from a female, solo-assembly perspective. Let me start by saying the box proudly states “Let’s Design Happy.” About an hour into assembly, I was honestly laughing at that phrase — because this process has been anything but happy. As for tools: a few screws are Phillips head (screwdriver not included), but most are Allen screws, and an Allen wrench is included. The wrench itself is a bit different than the ones I typically see — the long side has a rounded tip that allows the screw to “pop” in and hold, even at a slight angle. This feature is actually helpful in tight or compact areas, which you encounter often during assembly. However, the downside is that this long side doesn’t tighten the screws enough. To fully secure everything, you have to repeatedly use the short bent side of the wrench — over and over. It’s time-consuming, awkward, and honestly pretty hard on the hands. The instructions suggest tightening by hand, but if I had used a screwdriver with an Allen attachment from the start, I genuinely believe I would’ve finished much faster and with a lot less frustration. Now, onto the quality. Once assembled, the sideboard is very nice-looking and feels solid. Some areas resemble real wood, while the interior of the drawers appears to be more of an MDF material and is noticeably lighter in color than the dark exterior finish. That said, the overall construction feels heavy-duty and well made. I did notice a few small dings and marks during assembly, which was disappointing, especially since I was extremely careful and even assembled it on a rug. Thankfully, most of those imperfections are on interior pieces that won’t be visible once everything is put together, so it’s not a deal-breaker. Overall, this is a sturdy, attractive piece of furniture that looks great once completed. Just be prepared: assembly is challenging, time-consuming, and much better suited for two people (or at least someone with power tools). Now, the real test will be seeing how it holds up to my kids.

I really like the megnetic drawers with spring action to help slide the drawers in and out with ease. As big as it is , doesn’t take a lot of space . [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really impressed with this sideboard! It brings a warm, Scandinavian-inspired vibe to the room with its rich walnut finish and clean design. The 3 drawers and 2 doors with adjustable shelves provide plenty of storage while keeping everything looking neat and organized. The quality is outstanding — everything feels solid, sturdy, and well-made. Nothing feels flimsy or cheap, and once assembled, the sideboard feels very stable and reliable. What I love most is the push-to-open drawers and soft-close doors — they make everyday use feel seamless and smooth, almost like a higher-end piece. The only downside is assembly. Even though all parts are clearly labeled and many pieces come pre-assembled, it still took quite a bit of time. I highly recommend using a drill, as doing it by hand with a regular screwdriver is very difficult and time-consuming. Overall, this is a beautiful, high-quality piece that’s absolutely worth it if you’re prepared for a longer assembly process. A great mix of style and durability!
