Little Seeds Laurel 6-Drawer Dresser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited to receive this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I've put together a ton of furniture and felt pretty confident. I took all the pieces out of the box and was happy to see how organized the pieces were. The instructions were clearer than most and I was able to fall along. However, there were a few pretty big frustrating things. First, the bolts used to secure the actual dresser structure together were unbelievably difficult to use. I've seen much better technologies that are more user friendly. Once I got the hang of it, it went a bit faster but it was still really challenging. There were also 3 sets of pieces (2 each) that were UNLABELED, virtually identically, but did have to be put in a specific spot. I had to guess for each set, guessed wrong, and had to rebuild a portion. Everything else was easily labeled and identifiable. The instructions said it would take 1 hour. I did it in 2 hours with 3 others helping me. Once it was built, I felt like the aesthetic was okay. I typically like to change out the pulls on furniture like this to match whatever vibe I want in the room. The pulls are SO strange. I've never seen anything like them. I'd have preferred them to be a standard shape or size. I don't think you'd be able to swap them out, so plan to keep them. I also personally didn't love the way the two tone was used in this dresser. I'd prefer the top to be darker or the pulls to match the wood at the bottom. It was okay, not bad but not great. Overall, the dresser gets the job done. Even though it's not solid wood, it seems very sturdy and is a good size. The construction wasn't challenging and the color would match with a lot of different styles. The drawer count and depth are also good. I'd recommend this product to someone that is looking for a sturdy, neutral piece of furniture for a bedroom, nursery, etc.

I have been looking for a dresser for my boys to share for quite some time and this has been the perfect solution. It has six drawers total with the top two being a bit shallower than the rest, perfect for socks and underwear. It holds everything nicely and would be more than enough room for just one child. It has a nice, modern look to it. It was easy to put together, but did take a good hour and a half. It is not solid wood, but still very sturdy and should last a long time! The drawers glide nicely and the height is perfect. We put it in a walk in closet and it is the perfect size! All in all, this dresser is a great solution if you are looking for something that is sturdy, easy to put together and that will look nice in a child’s bedroom. I am very impressed!

I actually decided to wait to put it up because I thought it was going to take some time ! BOY WAS I WRONG ! First impression is this is beautiful, not to wide. Not to heavy to move. Honestly it was just right. Better yet the time it took to set up from start to finish may have been 30 minutes! That’s a game changer ! The dresser is absolutely spacious. The design is so modern that it can grow with your child. I think I love that the most. Overall I absolutely love this dresser. And would highly recommend this product !!!

I like the two tone wood, natural on the bottom and white on the top. It could easily fit any style/theme nursery. The material of wood is solid and sturdy enough that this dresser could easily transition to childhood to teen years. I like that it also has clean simple lines, very modern and timeless. The drawers also have good depth and width to them - could definitely fit a good amount of clothes or items. Assembly for this dresser was relatively easy. The instructions were easy to follow and had all the steps. All the pieces were well labeled and fit together properly. It definitely takes two people to put together, as you do have to balance some pieces as you assemble. Also because this is pretty solid wood, the box is heavy and some of the pieces are pretty heavy too. For my pregnant or expecting mommas, definitely make a friend, family member, or partner carry/hold those pieces for you. One negative for this dresser are the handles/knobs! The dresser is so clean and modern - but the handle/knobs that come with it are soooooo cheap and dated looking. The color of them is awful and the style is bizarre. They are weirdly shaped. Because the two holes are pre-drilled and oddly spaced, it would be hard to find a different handle to swap these with too. That is one major disappointment with this piece because I feel it takes away from the overall aesthetic and quality of the dresser. Overall though, the dresser is a good piece, it is sturdy, and easy to put together. The style is simple and minimal so if you don't mind the handle/knobs then it is a great piece for your nursery.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Laurel 6 drawer dresser from Stellar Product testing panel. The dresser is white with brown trim. The package was really heavy to lift, I definitely recommend to have help to moving the package. Upon opening the box, I was very impressed with the packaging. As I assembled the dresser I inspected each piece for cracks, scratches, or any imperfections. I didn’t find any evidence of damage. I like how each piece was wrapped for protection and tons of styrofoam. The backing of the dresser is a strong, heavy duty plywood board. The rest of the dresser seemed to be solid wood. There was a ton of pieces to assemble, because there you also have to build the drawers. The whole project was almost a breeze to assemble and the directions for the most part was very easy to follow. My only suggestion is to have a sticker to indicate which side of the panel faces up. I also wish the dresser was a little taller, but I am okay with the height. Perfect for my child to access all her drawers. My daughter loves her new dresser. I am very impressed how many clothes will fit neatly inside.

I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and it ended up feeling much more solid and well-made than I expected. The design is really cute — it has a little bit of a mid-century feel to it, but the more modern hardware keeps it looking fresh and current. It works really well in our baby’s room. The assembly process took me forever personally, but this was also my first time assembling furniture on my own, so I expected a bit of a learning curve. That said, my husband commented multiple times on how organized all the screws and hardware were, which made things much easier. The instructions were also very clear and easy to follow. One of my favorite things about this dresser is how sturdy it feels once assembled. I also really appreciated that it came with safety hardware so we could securely anchor it in the nursery. The drawer sizes are great too — the smaller drawers actually make organizing baby clothes and essentials a lot easier. My only negatives are that a couple of the drawers don’t tuck in perfectly straight, though I’m honestly not sure if that’s due to my assembly skills or the dresser itself. I also wish the drawers were soft-close. Other than that, I’ve been really happy with it overall.

The product is durable and the perfect height to double as a changing table for my little one. There is plenty of space on and inside the dresser. The dark wooden bottom creates a beautiful touch to the white dresser and the silver knobs add a pop of fun. My favorite part about this dresser was the easy glide drawers that open seamlessly. The only downfall to this product was the assembly. I would consider the assembly of the dresser to be more complex which is to be expected for a larger piece of furniture. Overall we love the dresser and we’re so happy with its function in our space.

It is very sturdy and well made. The drawers are easy to open and don’t get stuck. The top row of drawers are a little smaller than the bottom two rows. The assembly took a little bit of time though, about 4 hours or so, but the instructions were clear and easy to follow. It is also a little on the small side and while it fit all that I needed it to, some of it was a tight squeeze. But over all it’s a great dresser that would go well in a kid’s room!

I really like that the edges and handles are rounded and there’s a fair gap from floor to bottom of dresser (I like this due to cleaning and safety). The drawers pull in and out with easy glide. The two tone gives it dimension but it can fit in snug areas. The building process took about four hours but it was very organized and I also really liked that. It was a long yet smooth process. All the pieces came in an organized sheath and I opened it as needed so the pieces were not falling everywhere or missing at any point.

When we first got the Lauren 6- drawer double dresser I was a little concerned with how heavy it was. Having moved a few times, we try to avoid the heavier, more difficult to move items as much as possible, but in this case the weight is probably one of the things I appreciate the most about this dresser. When I unboxed everything and started putting it together I learned that most of the weight of the dresser is the back panel, which as parents with a baby that’s starting to climb EVERYTHING, that extra weight in the back keeps it more sturdy so we can worry less about it falling on him. This dresser looks simple in a beautiful way, which we are all about. We were a little hesitant about the smaller handles while we were assembling it, but they are big enough that they really aren’t annoying at all. We really love the darker wood bottom and legs, it breaks up the full white in a subtle and beautiful way. We really enjoy that it is the perfect height and width for using the top as a changing table. As a husband/dad that has assembled his fair share of “easily assembled” furniture, I was very pleasantly surprised with how smooth this was to put together. My wife was tired of hearing about how this is the first thing I’ve ever assembled that every single hole lined up perfectly. As I mentioned earlier, this dresser is STURDY. Not just sturdy pieces, but sturdy hardware. This isn’t one of those dressers with tiny little screws that get lost in the carpet. The only thing I struggled with, that was mostly user error, is that the drawers do have to go in a certain way (meaning side to side, not just the obvious top to bottom). The drawers have a different sized lip on either side so you have to make sure you get them in the right side to side, or they won’t fit. But a couple minutes of trial and error and it was an easy fix. I honestly can’t say enough about how impressed I was with the assembly process of the Laurel Dresser, I actually find myself enjoying the process instead of being frustrated and worried about how I was going to have to “just make it work”. It was refreshing. Someone really took pride in designing this dresser for baby safety, easy assembly, and plain and simple beauty. It is definitely a dresser we would recommend to any of our family or friends.

One is a toddler and this is easily sturdy enough to stand up to her getting her own clothes. I really like the wood accent at the base and the modern handles. The overall finish is very high-quality and it was easy to put together using the instructions they included. The simple video tutorial that gave me a visual and an idea of what to expect while building the dresser was also a nice touch. My stepdad and I did encounter a couple of minor hiccups during assembly, though they were largely user error on our part. The only significant issue we discovered was that 4 screws on the bottom were too loose. This is a potential safety hazard in a nursery, as loose screws could pose a choking risk to small children. Fortunately, this did not deter me as I was able to replace them with longer, more secure screws. Overall, I love the modern aesthetic that fits perfectly in my nursery and how it feels sturdy enough to grow with my child.

Love the modern design and the two-tone look (white color dresser/drawers on a darker color foot). I appreciate the smooth, u-shaped drawer handles. Gives me peace of mind that my son will not hurt himself playing with the handle. The assembly process was quite straightforward. I didn’t have any trouble following the included instructions manual. The height and depth of the dresser was great. We have been able to use the top of the dresser as our new sterilizing station for baby bottles. I liked how the top two drawers were less deep than the bottom four drawers. These shallower drawers will be a nice place for storing socks, bibs, hats, and other accessories. I found the four larger drawers quite spacious. The lowest two drawers were able to accommodate all our baby blankets, beddings, and swaddles. The middle two drawers had enough space to separate clothes for 9-12 months vs 12-18 months. Overall, I love this dresser. The 6-Drawers are spacious enough to help organize and store the different types of baby clothes and bedding that we have. Would highly recommend this product if you are looking for a modern and spacious double dresser.

I was super excited because I had still been using an open‑shelf changing table for my baby’s clothing and diaper supplies. He’s almost 1 year old now, and rearranging his clothes is his favorite activity. Not mine though! Overall, I’m really impressed with this dresser — it’s beautiful, functional, and a huge upgrade from our open‑shelf setup. The Laurel dresser works so well for us. It feels like the best of both worlds: everything looks neat and beautiful while still being completely functional. The dresser looks very sleek, and the metal handles with the pine accents make it look much more expensive than it is. There are six drawers: the two top drawers are shallower, and the bottom four are deeper. I keep diapers and hygiene products in the top drawers and clothing in the bottom ones. The drawers don’t pull out all the way, so keep that in mind. My favorite feature is the included wall‑safety kit — an absolute must with a toddler. Kudos to Little Seeds for including it. It’s so thoughtful and saves the hassle of having to buy one separately. The assembly process wasn’t too hard. My husband rated it a 3 out of 5 in difficulty. He’s not very experienced with this type of task, so I’d say it’s manageable for most people.

There was a very pristine white color that I appreciated. Overall a very sleek design. Unfortunately, though it had a strong paint odor. Aside from that, it was very easy to put together all the drawers slide in and out gracefully. In the end it was an incredibly sturdy dresser that I can’t wait to furnish my daughter’s room with. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best thing about this dresser is that it mostly uses real wood, which is so rare to find in any furniture product these days. That’s what makes this product sturdy, safe, and a worthwhile product that will last and can be used for multiple nurseries. However, because it’s real wood, it means it’s extremely heavy—so keep that in mind for assembly and moving! It took me longer than I expected, and I wish I had a second person to help. The detail touches like the curve edges are nice, but I could do without the silver handles. It would have been nicer with a sleeker handle (or one that was invisible, like an indentation). The white finish on top of the wood finished bottom is excellent! I absolutely love the look of this dresser. The drawers are perfect sizes for all your needs when it comes to baby clothes or your clothes. I was able to fit the baby's washclothes, towels, socks, bibs and my breast pads in one of the top drawers! The middle drawer and bottom drawer are the same sizes allowing you to put a variety of cloth items in. The wood is high quality and very sturdy.
