How to measure

  • Bust

    Measure across the fullest part of your bust, keeping tape measure level.

  • Torso

    Run tape measure from the top of your shoulder,between your legs & up again back to where you started.

  • Waist

    Bend slightly to one side. The crease is where your natural waistline is. Measure a comfortably loose, level line around that point.

  • Hip

    Stand with your feet together. Measure a level line around the fullest part of your hips & Seat.

  • Inseam

    Take a pair of pants that fit well. Now measure along the seam from the crotch to the leg opening.

    The fall of a legend ...

    I purchased a few of these shirts some years back and i've finally worn through them so i ordered more. Some observations: 1) The fabric is thinner. Period. This is a lesser/cheaper fabric 2) They shrink now. My old ones didnt which means the new ones shrunk first wash and no longer fit. 3) Some of them are cotton/poly blends. They are no longer 100% cotton. My suggestion is to go order some comfort colors t-shirts. They are still high quality. Walk away from these.

    Thinner shirt than before

    For a beefy tee shirt it is definitely thinner than before when bought a bunch of them a few years ago. Also feels warmer to wear might be the non cotton material that does that. Price was great and made well minus being thinner than I’ve come to expect from Hanes.

    Used to be great.

    These shirts have changed for the worse, I used to love them for the quality, fit and feel. Now I order 8 shirts and I can only wear 4 of them... Seems cheaper, neck blown out and very inconsistent sizing even though I order the same size.

    Value for the Money

    More clothing companies need to offer heavier cotton fabrics like this. My wife has a Beefy-T that is 10 years old now and it has no holes or signs of tearing and has softened nicely over time. So when it came time for me to buy some solid-toned shirts, I decided to go to hanes. They have a nice weight to them and feel soft. The reason the review is a 4 and not a 5 is because they run BIG. I'm a XXL and sometimes an XXL shirt can be cut like an L and sometimes it's cut for (I assume) a person who is shorter (I'm 6 foot). You can kind of see it in Hane's own picture with the guy and girl. The shirt sits kind of loose on his chest. Would have gone with an XL next time. Too bad Hanes doesn't sell Beefy-Ts in more stores.

    Excellent T-Shirt! But...

    I've bought multiple Hanes Beefy-T shirts and have been really impressed with the quality. The fabric feels just right, but substantial enough to feel durable and comfortable. So far, they’ve held up . One minor issue is that the collar tends to curl slightly, but once you wear it, it flattens out and looks fine. Folding it properly also helps to flatten it out. Now, the reason for the “but” in my title: in my most recent order, the green Heavy T shrunk significantly after the first wash it became an L from an XL. It was very noticeable compared to the other colors, which are still in perfect shape. I’ll be returning that one and ordering a 2XL to account for any future shrinkage. Other than that, I’m still a fan of these shirts!

    My recent beefy t experience

    Bought 8 t shirts 2 each of 4 colors. Thinking I was ordering the beefy t’s I used to love. All of them are scratchy not soft cotton like I remember beefy ts used to be. Disappointing!

    The Hanes Beefy-T heavy cotton shirts are what all t-shirts should be. They are just thick enough to keep me warm in the winter, and absorb moisture in the summer.
