About the Author

Joe Kubert was a master storyteller whose career spanned from the Golden Age of comics into the modern era. His most iconic work on Sgt. Rock brought depth, empathy, and a ground-level view of World War II to mainstream comics, while projects like Fax from Sarajevo and Yossel: April 19, 1943 explored real-world trauma with unflinching honesty.
