Edurne Uriarte es catedrática de Ciencia Política de la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos de Madrid y antes lo fue de la Universidad del País Vasco. Es columnista de El Debate, y antes de ABC, Expansión y Mujer Hoy. Es diputada del Partido Popular en el Congreso de los Diputados desde 2019. Y fue fundadora del Foro de Ermua y activista en los movimientos sociales antiterroristas del País Vasco. Sus dos últimos libros, coeditados con Ángel Rivero, son La extrema izquierda en Europa Occidental (2024) y El futuro del centro-derecha en Europa (2022). Es autora, entre otros ensayos, de Feminista y de derechas (2019), Diez razones para ser de derechas (2017) y Desmontando el progresismo (2012). Sus intereses fundamentales tanto en sus obras como en su trabajo periodístico se han centrado en el debate de ideas, en la defensa de la libertad y en la igualdad de las mujeres.
