A: Just FYI, I’ve been researching beads in face cleansers. Apparently the use of plastic micro beads in cosmetic products was banned in the US in 2015. This product contains hydrated silica which is a natural product like sand that’s not harmful to the environment. There are at least 2 reviews giving this product 1 star because they say it contains plastic micro beads - I’m not able to respond to their reviews, but someone should. Hoping this will help stop the spread of misinformation.
