I begrudgingly use this product. It does clean and lubricate quite well, but I HATE the smell. PLEASE make an unscented option. This is borderline torture.

I have been using Braun shavers for over 15 years and love the razor (Series 9). I've purchased the Clean & Renew refills from many places. The last time I needed them I ordered directly from this site as it was the best price I found. I received 10 of them and the first three worked just as others had. However, the last four that I put in have overflowed all over the counter for the first one to three cleanings. The drain hole in the base is not clogged so I can only surmise that they are overfilled as there is no place for the solution to drain back into and the entire top of the unit fills up, covering the entire shaver head. This of course severely shortens the life of each cartridge. Very disappointing that buying direct wasn't really savings at all.

I have a series 5 and still works love it.. then I purchased a series 7.. I liked it.. but when the series 9 came out i got it. Now I the series 9 Sport love it. It came with power pack. I can take it along with me and not have to take my cord woo hoo !!

There really isn't an alternative if you want to keep your Braun shaver operating at its best.

I ready another review that was marked as the most helpful critical review. The reviewer complained that the solution only lasted 7 weeks. The response was that Braun recommends changing every 4 WEEKS, but one of the photos right in the product description says “change every 8 weeks.” How can Braun say every 4 weeks and contradict their own product description? At one point, I believe it even said “every 10 weeks.”

I have been the Braun product nearly 30 years it’s the best investment I’ve ever had I still have my previous shavers believe it or I they still working but I had to buy the new one for a better technology Thank you Braun for taking a good care of my life

I have used Braun since 47 years ago as my first shaver. I bought my Braun Activator in 2004 and do not clean it every single day to spoil the liquid. It needs cleaning every three or even four days. I push the cleaning button after removing the cap and shaking it by hand.

Helps keep the razor functioning like new. Wish they didn’t use so much plastic. Rinse your razor beforehand and they last much longer.

I like the idea of these cartridges and they work as advertised for me (I get about 7-8 weeks out of one), but why not just sell the solution separately and allow people to refill the cartridges as needed? Just seems horrible for the environment to have to keep buying more cartridges every 6-12 months and throwing them away when finished.

Braun got the formula right to: 1) clean the shaving cassette effectively; 2) lubricate the shaving cassette; 3) cause the shaving cassette to be fully evaporated in the time that the fan in a charging and cleaning stand runs; 4) minimize time, trouble and fussiness in keeping one’s shaver clean, maintained and long lasting. In my view all of the other cleaning cartridge clones and third party cleaning solutions don’t work as well, are labor-intensive, and are not significantly less expensive if one uses the Braun cartridges slightly differently than Braun recommends. Here’s what I do, which causes the cleaning cartridges to last for a number of months: 1. After shaving, open the cassette and brush out/blow out the whiskers as well as possible. 2. Run the shaver through the cleaning cycle. 3. When the cycle is completed, pull out the cleaning cartridge and reinstall the watertight cap. 4. Use the cleaning cycle 1-2 times a week rather than every day. Always remove it from the cleaning stand after use and install the watertight cap. 5. On a daily basis after shaving remove the cassette and brush/blow out the whiskers. This is all I do. It seems to work as well as using the cleaning cycle every time I shave and of course results in the cleaning cartridges lasting 3-4 times as long as they do when used daily.

Getting this item is really difficult. I was in the store, the app said it was in stock but it wasn't on the shelf where it was supposed to be. I asked an employee who couldn't find it either. He used his handheld and confirmed that they had it in the back... but the handheld didn't tell him where so he said he couldn't help me. I ended up ordering it for pivkup through the app and waiting in the store for an hour. By magic they found it in the back and filled my pickup order. Absolutely bizarre. The product itself is fine.

Hi , is the replacement liquid ever tinted blue ? Or is it always clear?

This product does not fit the charger. The picture is what fits. The box had a different type.

Item is different from pictures. Shows in pictures as it would fit one model, but the actual product fits a different model. See photos below.
