They were better than other cardboard applicator ones, but I did have some slight leakage on heavier days, but once the flow lightened they were fine. I would get heavier absorbency for my first day that is usually really heavy, but the regular and super worked well for the following days. Overall a good tampon.

They're small and discrete however, they absorb as if they're bigger in size. I like how compact they are yet they don't sacrifice fit or comfort to attain their convenient size. So that is a huge plus for me. I really appreciate that these come in a super plus because a lot of larger size tampons actually don’t come in super small packaging. I like to stay discreet, but also still have great leakage protection and absorbency. Although these kinds of tampons are not incredibly sustainable for the environment- They are super convenient so you have to pick your poison!

While I love the packaging and concept, I do not like the application of these. Being compact is amazing and so helpful, however, the tampon itself is difficult to actually release from the applicator. I feel it stays in the applicator.

The reason I stopped using them is that there are more natural productive on the market that I feel safer using now. If U by Kotex would compete with them, I would probably use them again.
