What do you get when you add delicious, velvety chocolate syrup to the perfect brownie? Ultra-rich, moist and chewy brownie perfection. The luxuriously deep flavor and smooth texture of GHIRARDELLI premium cocoa is the secret to our mouthwatering premium mixes. Each order contains one 18.75-ounce box.
Directions
You Will Need: 1/4 cup water; 1/3 cup vegetable oil; 1 egg.
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Prepare baking pan by lightly greasing or spraying with non-stick cooking spray.
2. Place water, oil and egg in medium bowl and stir until fully mixed. Add brownie mix and chocolate syrup (enclosed); stir until well blended. Spread in prepared pan.
3. Bake as directed below. Cool completely in pan before cutting.
Pan Size: 8 inch x 8 inch (metal); Bake Time: 40-45 minutes.
Pan Size: 8 inch x 8 inch (glass); Bake Time: 45-50 minutes.
Pan Size: 9 inch x 9 inch (metal); Bake Time: 40-45 minutes.
Do not overbake. Fresh-baked brownies appear underbaked but cool to doneness.
For thicker brownies, make batter using 2 tablespoons water, 1/3 cup vegetable oil and 2 eggs. Bake as directed.

This is just OK. I did not enjoy it more than I enjoy a regular Duncan Heinz mix. I don’t know if I would buy this again. I think I do prefer Duncan. There is nothing else standing about this product.

The Very Best Brownie Mix
You can't go wrong. The flavor is deep and purely chocolatey, in a way most US products don't manage. This is made here, I believe, but maybe Ghirardelli oversees it or something. There's none of that funny taste we usually find in American chocolate; it's just sheer goodness. Makes a very fudgy brownie prepared as directed. You can add another egg, reducing water accordingly, to get it a bit more, well, brownie-like, if that's your preference (it is mine). It still won't be cakey.

The brownies were the perfect texture.Even the edge brownies were soft but still crispier than the brownie. I really didn't think they'd be much different from other box brownies but man was I wrong!
