These brookies are absolutely delicious, very addicting honestly. These and the Ghirardelli caramel brownies are my favorite box mix brownies. Cannot go wrong with them. The cookie part has hints of vanilla and salt, which pairs so well with the classic Ghirardelli brownie. When they’re pulled out right on the timer and after the allotted rest time, the cookie forms a soft crisp layer with a soft inside, and then pair that with soft chocolate brownie? Chef’s kiss.

These cookies are delicious. By far one of the best boxed cookies I have ever tasted. Really easy to make. Minimal ingredients. Right out the oven they melt in your mouth. I could probably eat the entire box in one sitting, no problem.

Use a can of diet soda in place of the butter and eggs. It's SO good and way less calories! Just watch the cook time, mine seems to cook through a good 10 minutes less than the box says.

Not the best, especially the cookie part.
I had high hopes as I really love a few of the Ghirardelli brownie mixes, especially the dark chocolate and the double chocolate varieties. This one was just ok. The brownie part was quite good but the cookie part was very flavorless and bland. Unfortunately I bought two of these mixes but I think that I can fix the cookie part by adding some vanilla, sea salt, and more chocolate chips or chunks. Honestly you are better off buying the brownie mix that you like and a tube of Pilsbury refridgerated dough, mixing up the brownie, and plopping slices of the cookie dough on top. You would get much better flavor from both the brownie and the cookie.

The box says up to 15 servings - that seems wildly optimistic as this is made in an 8x8 square pan but hey maybe bite sized party servings? Idk? Minimal on hand additional ingredients needed and hand mixing made this mix so much easier than other brookie mixes. I added peanut butter m&ms but otherwise followed directions. Excellent quality & taste!
