The new recipe is a huge disappointment!
I have been using the original version for over 30 years and I can definitely taste the difference. It has an off-putting artificial after taste. I highly recommend bringing back the old version and having the “healthier” option available for those who don’t mind the artificial taste.

Can’t believe it’s not butter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tastes very buttery and spreads smoothly and evenly. Works great as a spread on bread rolls, corn, etc. it even works great cooking with rice but I have not tried it with anything else so I’m not sure what the limits are.

New Recipe is Horrible!
I’ve been using I Can’t Believe it’s Not Butter Original for o40 years… the new recipe is inedible. Has a horrible aftertaste and is lacking the buttery flavor we’ve always loved. New container went straight in the trash and I won’t be buying again unless the TRUE original comes back. Really disappointed my lifetime favorite isn’t an option anymore.

It tastes just like the original I can’t Believe Its Not Butter spread but made with a shorter, simplified, healthier ingredient list. I appreciate the more simple ingredients and healthier ingredients! I love cooking and baking with butter but I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter Nutritich is a healthier alternative to real butter with 70% less saturated fat than real butter which may help with heart health. It contains healthy vitamins A, D, E, and vitamin B12 along with heart healthy Omega 3 ALAs. I love the I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter Nutririch because it spreads super easy, has a rich texture, and delicious! This is also a perfect option if you are looking for a spread that is GLP-1 friendly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I posted a picture of the most important thing about the new Nutrition because the butter still taste AMAZING and now for everyone who is a health freak can start eating butter instead of not eating it because it has less saturated fat in it! Also certified healthy-heart food! The spread is amazing on anything! Like toast and anything else you want with it! It’s easy to clean up when you want and easy to keep it out and easy to maintain in general! There are different sizes so very easy to put away in the refrigerator! You can put it anywhere because it’s super easy to handle. The taste is still amazing and I will continue to use this butter because it’s amazing!!!

Not a fan
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m honestly not a big fan of I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter Original Spread, but I still gave it a try. The texture was okay, but the flavor just didn’t do much for me compared to real butter. It melts fine and spreads easily, so it’s convenient, but the taste isn’t something I’d reach for again. I’m glad I tried it, though—it might work better for people who prefer lighter spreads.

I can believe it's not butter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can believe its not butter because i am not scream crying that my butt hurts and feeling like my insides are dying. In my house we regularly use the light one ane it been apart of one of my favorite comfort foods growing up, the food you go to when you feel like your world is falling apart, thats what this is for me. It melts better than butter if I am being totally honest. Its easy to close unlike butter. Its a superior product in my opinion.

Flavor
We recently tried the new version of I can't believe it's not butter, it is terrible! The flavor tastes weird. We have eaten this butter for years. I don't think, I will ever buy it again. We just recently opened 1 and I still have 3 more left, they will probably will get thrown out!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t tell my family I got this product to review. So when I went to go use it for the first time I was surprised how little was left. I ask my mom and she seem to like, she couldn’t really tell a difference from our usually butter spread. I used it to make eggs and didn’t season it with salt or pepper. The eggs tasted good and didn’t need salt at all.

Solid Substitute, But You’ll Know The Difference

For a spread made from plant-based oils, the texture is impressively rich and creamy. It melts beautifully on hot toast and adds a nice savory depth to steamed veggies. The nutritional profile is the real selling point for me. Getting 20% of my daily Vitamin A, D, E, and B12 in one tablespoon is a huge plus, especially since it has 70% less saturated fat than regular butter. It’s a great way to keep meals GLP-1 friendly without sacrificing that “buttery” feel. Why 4 stars? While it definitely gets the job done, you can still tell it’s not real dairy butter. The flavor is good, but it still lacks that specific “melt-in-your-mouth” finish that only real cream provides. However, for a healthier alternative that supports a balanced diet, it’s a fantastic staple to keep in the fridge.
