I threw the whole can away immediately after opening
Every olive had a weird coating on it and they were mushy. They did NOT look good what so ever. The date on the can was good but the contents on the inside did not prove this.

When opening all 4 cans I purchased they all had a white thick substance floating in the juices that stuck to the olives when drained. Not sure what it was but was not going to test it. Threw them all away

if you're unlucky you'll get a can of rotten olives.
this seems to be more of a distribution center/factory issue than a store issue - but every so often this target will get a *very bad* case of canned olives or something, and then for awhile every can on the shelf will have this gross white chunky stuff in it and smell bad. This is really unfortunate because canned food isn't something we can "check" at the store like eggs, so you won't notice until you're already home and open the can. to make it worse, since getting a refund here is a whole "to do" I never feel like it's "worth" my time and effort to get a refund for the 2 dollar can - but I've gotten *so many* bad cans here individually over the course of the past few months that I've probably lost like 30 dollars in total just throwing these cans full of rotten olives out. unfortunately a lot of target brand stuff has been getting affected by this and since the stockers can't "check" the cans any better than we can it happens pretty consistently. I know for a fact a bad case of these olives was put on the shelf recently, because I bought 2 cans earlier this month or so and both of them back to back were rotten and smelled bad, both with that chunky white stuff on the olives when I opened them.

Not a fan
I eat black olives regularly, usually a name brand, but Target was out, and so tried these. They do not compare, seem to have a metal taste to them. Would not purchase again.

Quit adding coloring!
If it isn’t traditional canning, it isn’t necessary here!

Limp Olives
Olives have gone downhill. I will no longer buy Target brand. Bland Tast and not firm.

Mold city
Do not buy these. I have had these actually be good before but lately they are just terrible. Moldy and gross

What happened to target brand?
They liked and tasted off. I rather pay a little more and get better quality. Target brands use to be better.
