  • A: Substitute litter is terrible. it's dusty, dark color shows up more, does NOT clump, leaves crumbly pieces in the litter box so it gets smelly quicker. Fortunately, my cat doesn't care, but I do!!

  • A: "proprietary additives" is NOT an answer, and the so-called "safety" is therefore highly suspect. The main ingredient likely used here is sodium bentonite, which can pose grave health risks to cats due to ingestion. I may discontinue use of this litter, as my cat sometimes licks the litter from her paws, and had a recent vet visit due to constipation (which led to vomiting, which led to dehydration, which led to bad kidney values). Both I and the vet think this litter is the root cause, and I'm in the process of finding an alternative (perhaps Purina Yesterday's News). I don't like companies that hide facts behind BS like "proprietary". My cat's health isn't worth the puny cost savings. Unacceptable. Inexcusable.

  • A: It did, unfortunately. The new formula is dusty, doesn't clump as well, and looks dirty. Target, please bring back the old formula! The original unscented was perfect.

    I love this litter. It clumps so well, and it definitely helped out with odor because it didn’t mask it with unnessasary scent. this was a user error on my part but I purchased an extra large kitty box so this one container filled up the whole litter box. But for regular size litter boxes this litter should definitely last a few weeks. I should have bought three.

    Found a diamond in the litter jungle

    I've tried several clumping and non clumping cat litters. My cat has a hard time covering his stuff up. Well he has been covering since I got this litter! Its also is alot better on my personal allergies and it doesnt make as big of mess. I also bought the up and up litter box without the lid and its worked great with the litter. No issues so far. Its also great because it doesnt feel like Im walking on rocks while cleaning it, since he throws litter out the box and I gotta walk around our small bathroom to clean. Its also saved me money as well, which has been incredible!

    Stinky stinky

    I like scoop away cat litter, but it has been hard to find lately so I thought I would try this. I have multiple cats in my house never smells like litter. I noticed that all of a sudden my house stinks and the only thing that I changed was to this cat litter. It’s horrible clumping it has no odor control. I will not buy it again.

    I recently ordered cat litter 4 - 20lbs each. Everything went well except the delivery and that was horrible, instead of being delivered at my door they just put it at the beginning of my driveway. I am 72 yrs old so you know how long that took me to carry those 4 containers. Called to file a complaint against the driver but that was a joke - I’ll think twice about ordering again
