New recipe is gross, please bring back the old recipe. I used to buy several bags of this a week and will no longer buy until the old recipe is back.

I used to love this product and use it all the time but the flavor has changed to taste like a Boca Burger flavor and I don’t like that at all.

I thought I had purchased a bad pack so I opened another. Then I tried a different store. Same result. Please change recipe back or make both. I miss my tasty morningstar crumbles.
Bring Back the Old; Offer Two Different Products

My wife and I have enjoyed Morningstar Farms products for decades. One product in particular, Grillers Crumbles, has been an important part of our diet. It has served as a crucial element in our chili, tacos, spaghetti sauce, and hamburger dishes, and it has even been added to the top of pizza. Life was grand, until the recent release of the "New Improved Recipe". I think this was a serious misstep. It would have been much better to introduce the new recipe as a separate product, with a slightly different name. Admittedly, the new recipe does improve a few dishes, particularly for those related to pasta. The problem, however, is that it makes other dishes, such as chili and tacos, taste much worse. Chili with the old Grillers Crumbles was one of our favorite foods; we'd make it twice a week. With the new recipe, however, I just can't eat it anymore. I've even tried vegan crumbles from other companies for something that was closer to the old recipe. Sadly, our purchases of Grillers Crumbles will be dropping significantly. There is a solution, though. Bring back the old Grillers Crumbles (naming it something like Grillers Crumbles Original) and keep the new recipe as well, just under a different name (such as Grillers Crumbles Supreme). That way, we can have the best of both worlds.

This used to be the base for my favorite food and I would use about 2 bags weekly. I have been eating this for over a decade and have tried to eat the new recipe a couple times, but it is so gross. I have not purchased in a few months now and will not buy again until the recipe is changed back, or at least offered again as an alternative flavor - why not have both? Please please please listen to your customers and bring back the original recipe that was perfect and delicious!

I thought the product had gone bad and checked the expiration date, only to find that the recipe had been changed. This used to be a huge staple in my diet - I’d go through 2-3 bags per week, every week for the past several years. Now I won’t be buying this unless the product is changed back.
Artifical "Smokey" Flavor

My family used to love these griller crumbles for years, but now with the new recipe change the flavor is completely off. We used to love how versatile it was, but now you can taste a distinct artificial flavor through any sauce or seasoning. We gave the new recipe a solid try before giving up. Won't be buying this unless they change the recipe back.

These vegan crumbles pairs so well with shredded chicken when making tacos. Our family has fully embraced the vegan lifestyle and we are always on the prowl for great recipes! These crumbles also are a nice fit over juicy ribeye steaks. My 10 year old daughter adores these sprinkled over her scrambled eggs and sausage! We love the vegan lifestyle!

To the point…this new recipe is awful! The texture is horrible and I end up with rubbery mush when I cook it. I was a loyal customer and now am actively seeking alternative brands.

This new recipe is awful. The old ones were excellent. Please reconsider. I used to love tacos made with these. I won’t buy again. Maybe you could call them “classic” crumblers? I’ll be on the lookout for them.

Despite all the negative reviews I found the Grillers easy to prepare and resulted in a tasty dish that included the new Grillers, lentil pasta, red and green peppers, a garlic clove, Newman’s Marinara sauce and a dash of parmesan cheese. Yum!😋

I went through several bags of this a month. I used it nearly every dish that would call for hamburger, but this new recipe is awful. Something tastes off about it in a way I can't quite articulate.

I have been eating Morning Star products since the 1990s. The crumbles are an integral part of several of my very favorite recipes. The new formulation is revolting. If I wanted that rancid undertone the flavor I’d buy Beyond Meat. I understand a desire to make it vegan, but I implore you to add back “original recipe”. New Coke was a disaster, and so is this.
