It’s a substitute for real bacon
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would say it’s a substitute for vegans who never had real bacon before. It’s very thin so, it was crispy. It did stick a bit to my pan although I used a non stick pan. I wouldn’t say it replaces real bacon but if someone wants the bacon flavor, I would say it’s a substitute.

Im vegan, my dad bought me these not knowing they were vegetarian but i ate them anyway not to waste it and im so disappointed because they were absolutely delicious but i wont be able to eat them again as they are not vegan. i don't know if they realize how much more they would sell by being completely vegan!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging is so nice and compact! And the ingredients include vitamins! Overall, cooking was quick and easy. It states you can microwave, but I opted to cook it on the stove with my other food for about six minutes and it was perfectly crispy! Texture was similar to real bacon and it was still crunchy. The overall taste was VERY similar to the real thing. It had a smokiness almost identical to bacon. I recommend!

Just Ok
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Morningstar farms bacon strips was just ok to me. I cooked this in a skillet and sprayed the skillet with avocado oil. It smells like traditional bacon (I usually eat turkey bacon) which is a plus. I like my bacon a tad crispy but make sure to watch it carefully because it cooks very quick. The texture was not my fave kinda on the stiff side but the taste was very surprisingly tasty. My other gripe is that I wish the ingredients were more clean and maybe the texture was more on the soft side. All and all I do like they kept the taste spot on for traditional bacon. I’ll give this a 6/10

A staple for vegetarians!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a vegetarian, this is now a staple in my freezer! I love it as a breakfast/brunch option. It doesn’t get super crispy, but the texture and flavor are right on. I put the strips in the microwave for 3 minutes and felt like that was the perfect amount of time. It’s so quick and easy, so you can make it even if you’re in a rush to get out the door. If I have one complaint, it would be that they got really frosty in the freezer and were kind of difficult to pull apart without tearing. But that’s small potatoes. I genuinely enjoy this bacon alternative! I received a package of MorningStar Farms Bacon Strips for free in exchange for my honest review.

A good low cholesterol option…
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love bacon but for health reasons, eat very little of it now. I decided to try Morning Star Bacon with an open mind hoping for a suitable bacon replacement. Is it bacon? Of course not, and I did not expect it to taste like it either but it did! I like that it has the look, smokey scent while cooking, and that salty bacon flavor when you bite into it. When I do buy bacon, it’s always the low sodium variety and so I found this one to be a little too salty for me. It also does not have that same crispness of well cooked bacon, the way I like it. But again, this isn’t pork bacon and that wasn’t expected. All in all, it has great flavor and will do justice to a veggie burger or BLT for vegetarians and anyone trying to cut back on cholesterol.

The Morningstar Farms Bacon Strips were easy and quick to fry and had a crisp texture after it was cooked. Two strips (*serving size) contain 60 calories, 4 g of fat, 0 cholesterol, 230 mg of sodium, and 2 g of protein. I would definitely prefer less sodium and more protein, but it's much better than eating actual bacon. It had a smoky flavor like bacon and is a nice occasional alternative to meat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wasn’t the worse thing but gave more of a Turkey bacon vibe than anything. The texture was strange and it def had a taste of bacon but tasted more like a slight flavor of the grease leftover after cooking bacon.

Strong smell that's not appealing, but tastes ok
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first took them out of the package, the smell was off-putting. It was strong and smelled artificial, if that makes sense. Although frozen, they're very thin so they peel off easily. The cooking instructions include oven and microwave, but I chose air fryer because I like crunchy bacon. After 8 minutes at 400 degrees, they came out super crispy, but not burnt. They were like chips. They had a great crunch with a light bacon flavor and smelled like bacon as it cooked.
