From the artificial looking dye to the texture and the taste. Anyone who has had real bacon would not be impressed by this. My sister thought it was a beggin strip dog treat and was scared to eat it. I appreciate the fact that they tried to imitate real bacon without using meat but I would just rather go without. I made it in the stove top with eggs and cheese like a scramble. I will not be repurchasing this item nor do I recommend it.

If you are trying to stop eating pork and looking for a substitute, don’t hesitate to purchase, they taste great. I even make a quick bacon sandwich with this bacon and its very satisfying. You will not feel bad about eating the bacon and its flavorful. Its a quick 2 minutes microwave fix or you can still throw it in the oven if your not rushing.

Tasted more like a potato chip. It also matched the look on the box and was easy to prepare. The biggest cons I have are all the additives. It says high quality ingredients, but it’s a ton of chemicals and artificial coloring. I like a plant based diet, but I haven’t quite figured out the point of vegetarian foods looking like meat when you’re trying to avoid meat, but I’m sure some people like that. Overall, it was edible, but with all the extras, nothing something I would like to put in my body on a regular basis.

It’s a quick solution for when I don’t know what to eat on my vegetarian days. I can just just fry two of them up with an egg to have breakfast. It does have a taste like regular bacon too, especially when I made them crispy like the picture. I would recommend them to others who also find vegetarian options for bacon.

The packaging was easy to spot and this creatine no animal products. I serve these to my three year-old and he loved them. I served him with mac & cheese. These are super yummy and I will definitely buy these again. The only thing that I didn’t like about these is that they contain wheat and my husband can’t have these since he has celiac.
