Burt's Bees Origin Beeswax Lip Balm - 0.15oz: Paraben-Free, Sulfate-Free, Moisturizing

I have had severely chapped lips since I was a small child and used to wake up every morning (even after putting vaseline on my lips before bed) in the winter with dried blood on my mouth from cracking. Burts bees is by far and away the very best chapstick formula that I have ever used. I have really tried them all, from carmex to aquaphor to artisan farmers market beeswax offerings, none compare to Burts. On top of the fact that it's just the best, I always loved knowing how much I supported the brand and it's ethics. I know things have gotten rough in manufcturing but I didn't expect what has happened over the past couple of years from Burts. The changes to the packaging even down to the fact that the sticker doesn't easily peel off from the cap the way it used to is so frustrating to someone who has been using this, until now, unchanged product for about 25 years. I'm so disappointed in you guys honestly. It feels like the only "natural" product company I've been using all my life that hasn't changed is dr Bronners. PLEASE COME BACK FROM THE DARK SIDE BURTS WE NEED YOU!

My go-to chapstick! Love how it moisturizes, glides on smooth and how the peppermint tingles on my lips!

There's been an obvious slip in quality for this product.

Keeps my lips moist but I still like to put on pretty religiously. I use it a couple times a day to ensure hydration all day long. It has a minty feel to it which I like, although I know some don’t!

They changed the formula. It’s softer now, no more peppermint tingle, it doesn’t work like it used too. I’ve been using this for 10+ years. The packaging is different too. I am not a fan anymore unfortunately

Since I found Burts beeswax, about 30 years ago, I have never used anything else. Best lip care on the market.

I’ve been using this product for 20 years or so but purchased a three pack recently and have to say there was a terrible smell and the new packaging is, as other reviews claim, flimsy and the cap bends when you remove it scrapping off some of the lip balm and creating a lot of waste. I unfortunately felt it necessary to return the product for full refund. Hopefully the company will return to it’s original integrity or I will opt to choose other brands.

I have used Burt’s Bees lip balm every day for over 10 years and have always trusted the quality of your products. Yesterday, I purchased a pack of three lip balms from a pharmacy, and unfortunately something appears to have changed. The lip balm has a very strong chemical or petrol-like smell that is extremely off-putting and unlike anything I have experienced with the Original (Vitamin E + Peppermint) lip balm before. Because of this, I will likely be switching brands, which is something I never expected to do! Additionally, I noticed that the ingredients listed on the back of the box do not match the ingredients listed on the sticker on the individual lip balm tube. This inconsistency is quite concerning and raises questions about product formulation and labeling accuracy. I wanted to bring this to your attention and would appreciate clarification on whether the formula has recently changed? And if there are any plans to change it back?

I can always count on Burt's Bees lip balm to protect and heal dry lips.

Nice feel. Not too mushy. Too expensive though, but it is the best.

Perfect for the dryness out in the Chihuahuan Desert. Moisturizes just the perfect amount, I can't live without my Burt's Bees. Best to buy in a four pack for overall value and stash!

excellent hydration and healing of lips.

I have been using Burt's Bees lip balm, just the original, for years and years. I don't use anything else. And yet, the new thinner caps (that crack SO EASILY) are so frustrating that I'm thinking about looking for another staple lip balm. I don't know why Burt's Bees would do this. The caps crack right off the bat, get worse as time goes on, until they literally won't stay on the balm. It makes them unusable, which is just unacceptable for a product that you pay top dollar for. PLEASE bring back caps that don't break so I can keep using your product!

Best lip balm! I wear it every night. I used to have very cracked/dry lips, but I now use this and it really helps! Kind of tingles my lips but feels good.

So this lip balm is fine i guess ive used it for a few years and its ok its moisturizing. It does what its supposed to but it is slightly dry on the lips and kinda sticky.
