I’m bummed. I’ve been using this and only this for years because nothing, not even medicated chapstick worked for me. I’ve used at least 5 all the way down to the end and keep one in my purse, desk at work, desk at home, and kitchen so I always have one nearby. It’s extra, but that’s just so you know how much I love the stuff. However I’m BUMMED because the original recipe no longer carries SPF! I bought a strawberry flavored one because that one still has SPF, but it’s not the same. I’m really hoping Carmex changes it back.

I would give this a 3.5. I used to love these, but I recently bought a new pack and my lips got sunburnt. I checked the label and realized that they no longer carry SPF in it. I'm disappointed because these were great. Now gotta look for a different brand.

Bought them when my spouse had chapped lips from a cold, and I started using these too. They do feel very strong but did work well at first. After a couple weeks of use, my lips just kept getting more and more chapped, to the point that they were bleeding constantly. I've heard great things from other people my entire life, but this product did not work for me. Vaseline lip therapy was a lifesaver, though.

I heard about Carmax not being good for your lips and the smell being to medicated. At first I didn’t like the smell but got used to it and it doesn’t bother me. It doesn’t dry my lips out, I pick my lips very baldy and repeatedly. (Learned to control it). It was an affordable option for the price of getting a 4 pack so I tried it out and it moisturized my lips and healed them with 2-3 days of me repeatedly using it, making them feel and look like I never touched them and they were perfect and not dry!

I gone 1 pack out in the winter last year. It help with my crack lip. I always apply at night time. It when my lip are dry. I live in fl and does get cold. Now it like cold one week and next week hot. Other lip balm treatment doesn’t work. What I don’t like you feel it numb on lips

I suffered severely with dried lips and chin! Yes chin that’s how bad it was. My lips were cracking and chin as well. I couldn’t smile because it would hurt. My lips were peeling along with my chin.
