My lips are sensitive but I’ve never had an issue with this. I’ve been using this brand for years after I got a bad sore on my lip from previously using eos I tried Vaseline and all sorts of other products but they didn’t work, but after 1 use of this the sore went away. It smells slightly minty and has a cooling effect on the lips. I coat my lips with a thick layer every night and wake up with very hydrated lips

It does sting initially when you put it on but it quickly will go away and numb the area. It is a white color and thin, but I’m telling you all of that is so worth it for the end results, every time my lips are chapped no matter how bad, it will help if not fix it completely. For the color it leaves behind I’m sure you could rub it in, but what I do it apply it before bed or when I’m home, i put a good coat on and just leave it, I love this lip ointment. I 10000% recommend!!!

When I feel a cold sore coming on, I use this in cream form (squeeze tube), and it’s always seemed to keep it from becoming full-blown. That’s what I use it for, nothing else. I use Vaseline [formula for lips] regularly for moisture, but Vaseline doesn’t do anything for a cold sore.

I would give this a zero stars if that was an option. This product smells and tastes like TIRES/RUBBER. It can’t be safe to use if it smells and tastes horrible. Don’t buy it if you value your HEALTH.

I make sure to have this on hand for the colder weather. My lips get so dry and chapped. I don’t have to apply this as much as I do chapstick. This is thicker and last longer.

Blistex is great for when my lips are super chapped to keep them from being dry. I use these alot when I have cold sores. They seem to make them heal alot quicker than most products but I wish it tasted better and smelt better.
