A: Hi Rita, For the Beeswax Lip Balm you purchased, please be advised our cosmetic products are intended to last three years from the date of manufacture, which can be determined by reading the lot code. This code will be stamped under the UPC numbers. We recommend that our products be used within 12 months after opening and it's best to store products out of extreme temperatures and direct sunlight, if possible. Strong peppermint
Only bought this because my Target stopped carrying the natural chapstick. I had heard of the brand, but the peppermint flavoring was buried in fine print on the label. It was overpowering to the point that my wife asked me what I was wearing that made her lips burn.

Please bring back original formula!
Have used Burt’s bees daily for many many years now. When opening this new pack, immediately noticed the soft and flimsy cap which wasn’t too big a deal if it helps the environment. However, as I proceeded to apply the balm, I can immediately feel the difference in formula. I was open to giving the formula a try, but after application, the scent is horrible. It no longer gives the same clean peppermint scent. It’s even worse when smelling the lip balm directly at close proximity. Please bring the original formula back.

Stop trying to save money on your packaging! The caps are cheap plastic and easily break. Quality continues to go down year over year!

Changed packaging
They changed the packaging. Now the lid is flimsy and it scrapes my chapstick every time I open it.

Really love this lip balm
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This came just at the right time to be put to the test. With winter upon us and being inside with heaters my lips were so dry. I have tried a lot of lip balms in the past and usually I don’t make it through one. I really like the consistency of this one. It’s not sticky and really hydrates the lips. I went for the watermelon version and the smell is really nice. I would definitely buy again.

However, it does have a good amount of slip on the lips after it has been applied. I also like the extra security packaging on the tube so you know it hasn't been used before.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Actually I’ve been a long time fan for Burt’s Bee product. Years on their lip balm quality is still there - moisturise, and no oily feeling. I also like its ingredient is bee’s wax, feels natural. It also has a cooling effect which im not sure what caused it but suppose it would feel nice in summer.
