BelVita Soft Baked Banana Bread Breakfast Bars - 8.8oz/5ct

Last time I purchased 2 boxes of the Bannana Belvita Soft Baked & opened one and started eating it & it tasted alittle stale. Took another bite, oh my YUCK, I spit it out, thankfully because I looked at the rest of the bar and it had mold, dark mold within the bar itself !!!!! My youngest son, 9, had already eaten three of them, I didn't dare tell him. I buy these all the time, for years, always good ! Very good ! I think the problem lies with Target employees not looking at dates or rotating properly or getting rid of the old products when they restock ! I looked at the date and on both boxes and they were expired 6 months. I am returning both boxes ! This was at the Petaluma store. I had bought a couple other food items, same Target, same year that were already expired. Not the first time. I pay for Shipt. and use it quite frequently and then give tips on top of that for years so it is delivered instead of going to the store. So to have to return to store is a definite hassle !!

No Thanks! I’m not putting bioengineered food in my precious body so you can make profit! Why they don’t put that in front of the packaging?! Exactly bye!

I love banana anything and really thought i would love these but i spit the first bite out. Left a horrible taste in my mouth. Definitely don’t recommend.

Product says there is 5 of these, however I only got 4 in a pack... these do taste really good, and I wish Belvita had more soft baked treats

These immediately tasted like a hint of alcohol to me. Thought it was weird but kept eating it. Now after eating it I have an after taste of alcohol as well.

Would buy again. Quick banana nut satisfying snack.

I love these, ate an entire box in one sitting. Unfortunately my target is out of stock at the moment😭

I absolutely love Banana Belvitas, they’re my favorite! They taste delicious and it doesn’t have as much sugar as other similar foods, which also includes other Belvita flavors. I was looking at some of the other reviews and it was a shame to see some Karen’s whining about it. They clearly don’t have good taste.

I really liked the concept and texture; however, it tasted like artificial banana to the point it was kinda nauseating. I found that it tasted more like a banana laffy-taffy rather than banana bread.

Can’t wait for Belvita to come out with more soft baked options in different flavors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know Belvita generally makes oat cookies, but for some reason, I thought this would have a softer texture, more like banana bread. It is soft, but it still has some crunch and chewiness from the rolled oats and I can't say I love it. I like the fact that you have individually wrapped biscuits, so you can have them on the go or in a lunch box. Each biscuit has 9 grams of sugar, which isn't as much as some sweet items, but they still taste pretty sweet to me. I couldn't finish a whole biscuit. As for the flavor, although it says "natural flavors", they don't taste like natural bananas to me. I've eaten plenty of bananas and none of them ever has this aroma. It's the same aroma you can find in banana-flavored candies and other sweets. I see no difference between natural and artificial flavors as far as taste. The biscuits do contain banana puree and I wish they would left it at that. I make banana bread regularly and I do not need to add any banana flavor to it. I simply add... bananas. I guess the banana amount in these cookies is minimal. The banana scent is also very unnatural compared to what bananas smell like. There are also ingredients like canola oil, polydextrose (not an ingredient I add to my baked goods), soy lecithin, none of which I like to have in my food.

I like how delicious and tasty with only 200 calories per biscuit. They make a fast and convenient breakfast or we take them for a great snack on the go. The best part is that they are my made with whole grains and no high-fructose corn syrup and with the perfect banana flavor. I highly recommend to everyone to try and I will continue to buy for my family.
