    This is my favorite cake mix! I frost it with homemade chocolate buttercreaProduct sucks m frosting. I make it for a family of 4.....it lasts us about 2 days.....none of my other cake flavors are as appreciated as chocolate devils food so I'll occasionally do a spice cake, carrot cake or white vanilla but these rugrats get huffy when I do....lol. I like to add nuts, m&ms, sprinkles .....whatever is on hand, also use cream, milk, applesauce or juice instead of water to get a reaction. Btw, I'm grandpa.....79 yo, love to bake, I make pies, cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, sometimes from scratch just to be interesting. Y"all be good, bake for your kids, make those memories.

    Is the top choice when making “better than sex” cake! Don’t forget the milk! This is not only very affordable but much better than recipes that use mayonnaise or from scratch!

    What have you done!

    I have used this Duncan Hines moist cake mix as the base for many cakes for literally 50 plus years. But you changed something when you put less in your box used to be 19 oz.per box. I’ve tried to adjust my recipe 4-5 times all failed. Shrinkage and deflates terribly. I cannot use your mix anymore. Please let me know how & why you’ve ruined a timeless recipe. This is so bad. A flop. Wouldn’t buy gain unless you revert to the old recipe.

    Quality no longer good

    Made Duncan hinds triple chocolate cake 3 years ago for my birthday, it was my favorite. I planned to make it for my birthday last year. The layers were as flat as pancakes! Other reviews said the same thing. Okay, maybe the mix didn’t have enough baking powder?? I figured I’ll try one last time. Made it today for this year’s birthday. Checked it carefully, taking it out 5 min early, the moment that toothpick came out clean. It SUCKS. Tastes like nothing, consistency so light, you can’t even pick it up with a fork. How embarrassing to serve this lousy cake to company AGAIN. What is with this company. Isn’t cake mix what they DO??? Never again. I’ll make it from scratch from now on

    Cake mix change

    I bought this to make a butterfinger cake. The mix is nothing like it used to be. It is so thick you have it spread it up with a spatula. It also is not that dark deep chocolate like it used to be. I have always used Duncan Hines Cake Mixes so I was disappointed

    Great for cake cookies 😉

    Honestly this is my favorite brand and flavor of cake mix, I decided to make cake cookies. They came out perfect I added finely diced walnuts; recipe was 1/2 cup vegetable oil two large eggs and the cake mix, no water. Baked at 350 for 12 minutes, I did 13 because my oven tends to be finicky. If you have two racks though it may burn the bottom ones slightly so I recommend trying to keep them on the top rack. If you do more time. I rolled them into 1-1.5 inch balls for smaller cookies, however the texture was absolutely awesome in 2 inch balled cookies, either size are good but to get the full experience I think alittle bigger is alright. I just wanted more cookies so it satisfied my craving more, two smaller cookies feels mentally like more than one bigger cookie if that makes sense. But the texture and flavor are both amazing either as cake or cookies. Highly recommend this vs Betty Crocker. It’s my swear by/ go to cake mix.

    Decadent, Easy, and Always a Hit!" I’ve tried several brownie mixes over the years, but Duncan Hines® Dark Chocolate Fudge Brownie Mix is by far one of my favorites. The flavor is rich and indulgent, with that deep, dark chocolate taste that real chocolate lovers crave. The texture comes out perfectly fudgy in the middle with just the right crispness on the edges — exactly how brownies should be. Prep is super simple and fast — just add water, oil, and eggs, mix, and bake. I appreciate that I don’t need fancy ingredients or extra steps. Great for busy days or last-minute desserts. Bonus tip: I’ve added chocolate chips or a swirl of peanut butter on top a few times and it turned out amazing! If you like your brownies rich, moist, and super chocolatey, this mix won’t disappoint.
