Though it is water resistant, I would not say it is completely waterproof. Most sunless tanners will have some fading in prolonged exposure to water. Hope that helps!

    Never again - orange and uneven splotches

    Never again. I had been trying to order this for awhile and once it was left out of my order. I finally got it and was super excited to try. I hage tried lots of self tanners but liked that this one provided instant color. I followed directions. Something is wrong with this product. It initially went on evenly, but then after it dried it made my skin splotchy and looks like I have something wrong with me! It is horrid. I now have to go on vacation looking like a splotchy mess. It also takes a lot to get any level of dark---it looks orange. I am a pretty pale---not super fair but medium fair. Once you get enough on to show up, it has orange undertones so you are patchy orange. 🍊 Never again!

    I will only buy this from now on!!

    I WILL ALWAYS BUY THIS OVER ANYTHING!! I’ve been using Bondi Sands for years but recently wanted to switch things up because I just don’t like the smell that it has. It’s the traditional “sun tanning” smell. But THIS STUFF?!?! Man…… goes on like butter, doesn’t look uneven AT ALL, and the smell is INCREDIBLE. Mind you, I’m not one to type in all caps but this deserves it. I used the “GOOD tan Full-Body Tanning Mitt by ecoTools” with this Jergens Instant Sun ‘Ultra Deep Bronze’ tanning mousse. I’ll only buy this from now on! I saw results immediately and I can’t wait until I see the full effect in a few hours!

    Hands down my favorite tan on the market. This formula contains the least toxic ingredients when compared to others and the color is just right on my skin tone. I always get compliments and asked what tan I'm wearing when I use this. It has a tan smell but it's not overpowering and blends in very easy as the product is foam. It's easy to reapply and layer and doesn't get blotchy until you start scrubbing in the shower.

    As horrid as the smell is, this is the only self tanner on the market right now that actually lasts you for a full 3-7 days or a tanner that allows you to build on. It’s instant, you see results with 4-6 hrs of application. Doesn’t wash off and leave you without color like the others do the only thing I have to say about it is the smell… it lingers for more than a day after showering I wish they would fix this about this product because it would be a 10/10

    Amazing Product

    I have used this product two times in deep bronze.I love it so much! the first time I used it I left it on over night and it gave a beautiful tan. the second time I used it I only put it on for 5 hours and it still gave me a nice tan. overall this product it not streaky at all or patchy even with my horrible job of applying. it overall gives you a tan you are looking for!

    If you know how to tan

    After seeing the pictures and reading the reviews I can’t help but add something. For those of you saying it’s streaky and patchy - it’s highly likely you aren’t exfoliating properly before applying because that’s typically the cause with any sunless tan. As far as the smell, it’s faint and not bad. As someone other has used the high end brands, I feel this is a great contender. The fact that it doesn’t transfer to my clothes or sheets is huge. I have found that the longevity of this product outlasts the others by about 3 days. I haven’t had any streaking or orange tones with this , I am fairly skinned with red undertones. And the fact that it’s cruelty free is also huge because we don’t need to be testing on animals. Price point is also great.

    My fist bottle was so good I got another, this second bottle has left me feeling sticky, and left so many streaks and when I go to the gym and sweat the tan comes off on my clothes, also only lasts a day or two.

    People of Color

    Good for people of color! I’m a fair skin black woman and I’m usualy even lighter in the winter months however I don’t like to tan. This product offers a great sun kissed even tint to my skin. It does have an after smell that perfume will not mask and it will transfer to fabric even if it’s dry on skin. Light Bronze works best for me.

    Two tones, one girl....

    I'm a little thrown off by this product. I went out on a limb to try jergens. Honestly, because it was cheaper... i may have figured out why. when I pump the top, my moose comes out looking like a caramel, gelato kind of way. It's like I don't know how to describe it. It's like AA vanilla and a chocolate ice cream cone for McDonald's. That's swirled around. It's just weird looking. I'm not pumping or shaking the bottle. Nor am I throwing it around like a football, but it comes out in a manner I should be concerned about. Yet, I continue to apply it. So I don't know, is this normal? Currently i look like a bruised banana. Not quite, im being dramatic. Yeah, not so flawless. Better off burnt in south carolina ~ Caramel swirl girl

    Let me save you

    This is, easily, the worst tanner I have ever come across, and I’m not even being dramatic. Firstly, two coats MINIMUM is an absolute requirement, or else you will come out patchier than a pirate. Additionally, the tan just ✨rubs off✨ after a few days off wear. The wrist I wear my apple watch on? Exposed. Where my sandals rub on my feet? Exposed. The band where my bra sits? Exposed. All of this in less than 48 hours after application. I followed all of the steps (exfoliation, lotion, let it sit for 4+ hours) and it still looked horrible. Don’t suffer the same fate as me, just pick something else.
