The tan definitely does appear, but the product will start to shed off of you, creating splotches, even with frequent moisturization. I bought it because it was clear and I assumed that it would not stain sheets or clothing, but I was wrong. The product will clump up at the bottom of your shower and clog your drains. I used this product multiple times, to give it many chances. But, I can't stand this product anymore. The only good thing about this product is how low the price is compared to other tanning products.

I like the color it leaves but gosh it is had about leaving streaks all over my body pretty much. Needless to say I have it at home for a back up for when I run out of the mousse kind I buy for regular use. So it's fine for a back up, if it's all I have but I wouldn't never buy it again for regular use, isn't an instant tan either so if you need a fan quick I wouldn't recommend it. At least it doesn't have any green tint to it like some of the mousse does.

i made a big mistake by not reading reviews on this. quite frankly i have never had a self tan mess up like this in my years of using countless different types and brands. for the record, i have never left a bad review before either, i just don’t want someone to make the mistake of using this before an event or something important. this product left me with the most uneven and streaky tan i have ever experienced. the smell wasn’t as bad as others have mentioned but the final product was a nightmare. i used a mitt on one leg and my hands on the other while following all instructions on the bottle. Both resulted in the same streaking so i think it’s just the formula. :(

This stuff was awful. Not sure why I thought a clear formula would be a good idea (my bad on just thinking about it not staining anything). It definitely developed into a tan that was streaky & blotchy. I will say it def has some staying power due to the amount of scrubbing over 2-3 days I had to do to look normal again.

Smells like cat pee
Worked okay where it worked. Definitely very streaky on my arms and legs. My hands also ended up WAY lighter after putting a thin even layer on my body then washing my hands off as instructed. HOWEVER, the WORST part and the reason why they are getting one star is the horrible cat pee smell. I’ve been trying to figure out the source of this horrible smell cleaned and disinfected and sprayed everything until I realized IM WHAT SMELLS. never using this again because the smell makes the ease and efficiency not nearly worth it. I’d rather spend hours spray tanning and throwing away orange sheets than smell like this ever again.

People need to stop lying lol, this is the WORST self tanner I've ever used, and I've been self-tanning since the earliest forms or Jergans, so I have a low bar. I put this on at night and woke up looking like a disaster. The streaks are SO orange and dark, and there's just giant white patches in random spots that make no sense (middle of my thighs, on my bicep, etc).

Yes, there's no color guard so you need to be careful, but that means no mess on sheets or clothes! I love this stuff, affordable, doesn't fade flaky/patchy, and doesn't irritate my skin like all of the foam tanners. I wish I had a lifetime supply.
