b.tan 'glow your own way' Shimmer Self Tanner - 16 fl oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed this self tanner. Most self tanners are finicky and stain everything, but I didn’t find this to stain anything other than what I wanted it to! It drys down quickly and smells like coconuts. The trade off is that it is not an immediate result. If you’re expecting a self tanner that you can slather on and immediately have sun kissed skin, this is not the self tanner for you. However, if you plan ahead and apply this the night before, it develops over the course of a couple hours and you’ll be nice and tan for the next day :). Additionally, I found that this sticks quite well to the skin. I’m not the most experienced with self tanners, but this lasted me a couple of washes and didn’t wash off patchy.

It was a little strictly but that was probably my error because I didn’t apply it correctly. Packaging is cute I love the specs of glitter. No scent which was a pus for me .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely obsessed with this new tanning gel. I love the perfect effect it has on my fairly light skin, giving me a natural looking golden glow. I love how quickly it dries and how nicely is lathers on my skin (it also leaves my skin smelling nice unlike many other tanning products). It comes very nicely packaged, and a little bit goes a long way for this product, so it last a very long time. I would 100% recommend.

It goes on very smooth then as it’s drying, feels a bit sticky, but when it drys the stickiness goes away. It drys feeling smooth and smelling good. Im an already “tanned” girl but I will be using this in the summer for the scent and cute shimmer. This was given to me in exchange for my honest opinion, from influenster.

I did like the smell and ease of application. I assume it would be better with one of their applicators but I didn't mind applying by hand.

I am incredibly pale so I was afraid it would leave streaks, but I am impressed with the texture and the ease of the application after a shower. It doesn’t have a bad smell to it. And really it has no drying time and just enough glitter that you like it.

I had just used a self tanner that turned me super orange and I was a little worried about this one but it gave me a nice build on my natural tan and no orange undertones! It smells lightly of coconut and the shimmer isn’t overpowering. It is however, very sticky until it dries which is a bit of a drawback but for me wasn’t a deal breaker. The gel formula is easy to apply evenly. Would buy again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been looking for a self tanner that doesn't turn my skin orange. I have extremely fair skin that burns easily, so I do not expose it to the sun. Self tanners give me that sun kissed look without the risk. I'm actually a bit impressed with b.tan glow your own way + shimmer. This self tanner smells pretty nice right out of the bottle, a tropical almost pina colada scent. It feels a bit goopy in your hand, it's a gel but it goes on pretty even and it dries down pretty fast. It leaves a glittery sheen to your skin, while that is cute, for a woman my age, I'd prefer a tanner without this. It is subtle though so I'm not mad about it. The tanner itself works nicely, after a few days I noticed a slight coloring happening, and after a couple weeks there was a lovely little bronzing, very slight but enough to look like I had a nice vacation in the Bahamas or something. It did not leave an orange tint, it was a nice light bronze color. It also has a nice side effect that it seems to hydrate your skin, that is likely the vit c and hyaluronic acid at work. This is a nice self tanner for anyone who wants to start a tan from scratch, or build on one you already have. This is going to be my go-to from now on.

It is easy to apply and I like that it goes on clear, is transfer resistant so it doesn't stain clothes or bedding, and you don't have to rinse it off. It absorbs quickly and blends really well, not leaving any streaks, etc. Makes self tanning so much easier. I like that it has skincare ingredients, like hyaluronic acid and Vitamin C. It leaves my skin feeling more moisturizing and my skin looks more glowy. This formula does have shimmer in it, but it gives a really pretty, natural glow. The shimmer does not look glittery.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you're someone like me who has never used a self tanner or done spray tanning, i would 100% recommend using this product. It's perfect because you notice a difference in how dark you get but it's not going to be drastic to the point people will think your tan looks bad. I would leave 5 stars but it seems to have an odd scent to it, otherwise it gets the job done. It doesnt dry out my skin which is great because my skin tends to dry out fast. I wouldn't necessarily say it hydrates though, make sure you use lotion and exfoliate before applying. The packaging has a great pump and it’s not spewing out too much product so it’s easier to control

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This packaging is very pretty especially with the pink and then the gold shimmer tan inside is a cute combination. I love that it is infused with hyaluronic acid and vitamin c. The texture is not too thick and application is easy.

The texture is amazing, the glitter is an added bonus, the drying time and application is so easy and the scent rocks!!!!! The packaging is a great pump. This will be a re purchase for me!
