b.tan 'glow your own way' Shimmer Self Tanner - 16 fl oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used a lot of self tanners over the years, they usually stink, leave a dirty look to your skin and feel sticky. I can tell you this product doesn't do any of that. It goes on clear and is so easy to smooth onto the skin. I found no funky odors left behind. The sparkle is basically non existent so it's not an extreme body glitter left on the skin. I noticed this gel glides on so evenly and dries without a tan line left behind. It took a couple hours before I really noticed a tan color to my skin but I really like this product a lot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to start by saying that I honestly didn't like it at all because it has a very strong coconut scent, and personally, I don't like smelling like coconut. The absorption is good, but it really doesn't show much after a while of applying it! The shine fades, and the texture it leaves disappears very quickly after a few minutes.

The bottle said you could apply with your hands and so I did it kind of smelled like chemicals, but nothing too strong that I couldn’t handle the shimmer was not overly powerful. It was nice. I will say it’s kind of annoying that it’s clear because you can’t really see where it’s going on. I did get some orangey spots by my wrists and feet where it’s hard to blend especially because I couldn’t really tell what I was blending. But overall, It gave a natural glowy tan and I actually really liked it! It’s also nice that it dries pretty much instantly so you don’t have to wash it off and doesn’t stain.

I love all things glitter, so a little shimmer, sparkle was right up my alley. I didn't notice any overpowering scent and the texture isn't left in a greasy feeling

Not only does it give my skin a beautiful, natural-looking golden glow, but the added shimmer gives the perfect radiant finish without being over the top. It’s easy to apply and I like that the packaging has a protective layer for the nozzle. It’s shimmery and will hopefully bring on a natural and gradual tan to me.

Once applied, it gives you a shine and shimmer you’ll be loving while out for your tan. Absorbs once applied to skin and no stains but shimmer.

The gel texture is super lightweight and not sticky at all—goes on really smooth and dries fast, which is a win if you hate that tacky tan feeling. The color develops into a natural-looking tan, not too orange or too green—just a solid medium bronze. It’s definitely buildable, so if you want a darker result, just layer it the next day.

My bottle did come broken from the mail but I was able to at least save what was left of it. This doesn’t have a strong smell which is nice and it’s more of a gel like texture. Excited to see the results.

The shimmer is another bonus- who doesnt want some extra shimmer?! obsessed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This very light, gradual self tanner is in a large, easy to pump bottle that will last for a long time. The gel is a typical gel feel - it breaks down easily to rub into your skin and has a pleasing, light coconut scent. It absorbed quickly and did not leave my leg feeling sticky or oily like I was afraid it might. The shimmer is definitely there, but it is subtle and hard to catch with a camera. This is a gradual self tanner, one of the lightest that b.tan offers and I like that about it. In the comparison picture I provided, you can see the difference between the leg I used it on and the one I didn't. It would be perfect to use on top of other b.tan tanning products to enhance and smooth the tan you already have. You can also layer this product if you would like it to be more noticeable. As someone who is new to self-tanning products, I liked the clear instructions on the bottle and the ease of application (no rinsing required for this one!). I've not noticed any staining from things coming into contact with my leg, probably because of its light strength. I'm very happy with this self tanner, and I would purchase it again.

I tan well but I really wanted a nice base tan to get me started and this is seriously the best. PLEASE exfoliate, shave, and moisturize WELL before applying. It makes such a difference!!! I use this after my everything shower and then apply it and sleep in it over light. I do a quick rinse in the morning and it's so so pretty. No staining, no streaks, no orange!!

I love how it goes on clear because it doesn’t make a huge mess and doesn’t get on my clothes or sheets. I just apply before going to bed and wake up tan! It’s smooth and easy to apply.

Smell and sparkle was good, gave an orange color in some areas. Wish it was a spray for even distribution but not bad compared to similar products.

I thought this wouldn’t smell like a self-tanner at first as it has a nice coconut scent but once it dries on your skin it does smell like a self-tanner. I did like the nice subtle tan it gives to my skin though. I just hoped it would keep smelling like coconut.
