b.tan Dark Dark Dark Brown Self Tan Mousse - 6.7oz

I tried this shade for the darkness and express tanning time. After letting it develop there was genuinely no change to my skin tone. I am usually a light/medium shade naturally and was thinking the tanned AF would be a perfect step up in darkness. I am going to try again for a longer period but the one hour time was just false and does not work at least for me, and as someone who is always on the go I was looking for something quick. Super disappointing and a waste of product. Positives are zero streaks and comfortable feel/not too tacky, tolerable scent.

The application is very easy and it blends very well and drys down quickly. It doesn’t leave behind residue or streaks and has color to show you where applied. Upon application it looks a bit grey but that color doesn’t last after washing it off and then revels a beautiful glow.

It’s easy to apply, dries quickly, and fades evenly. Downsides? The smell is a bit strong during development… like most self tanners and ankles can be a little tricky to blend smoothly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve never used self tanner before, so I didn’t have a baseline to compare B.tan to, but it’s not orange so that’s a plus. My boyfriend’s skin is super pale, but he has a farmers tan, so half of his arm is my skin tone lol. The result wasn’t seamless, maybe the tan on his arm has a reddish undertone. We didn’t leave it overnight, not wanting to risk stains and we can’t sleep with a sticky feeling either. Not a bad product for me, but probably not for him lol.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] *disclaimer* this was the FIRST time ever self tanned. i usually just get spray tanned… but i was honestly super pleased with this product from the mitt to the mousse! it applied SO well, took me from PALE to TAN. and it didn’t seem to crack or fade ugly, and crackly, it just slowly faded away. I usually prefer a violet base spray, so this being green based i wasn’t crazy about it at first, but the end results were still great & didn’t appear fake. would definitely purchase in the future!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The glove that is provided feels quite soft and protective. However, it does require a few pass throughs to evenly coat the area. Sticks more to dry spots and i have to stand for the duration of the drying time,but becomes tacky withing 10 minutes. Smells floral and sweet, unlike traditional tanning lotion. Although it took a bit extra effort to evenly coat, I was pleased with the result of the amount of bronze that came through.

I do sometimes struggle with patches or streaks but now that I have the b.tan mit it helps resolve all of that. I highly recommend

Not patchy which is really nice. Doesn’t have that orange fake and bake color, it’s more natural. Does stain white floors, counters or clothes so be mindful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to like the Tan AF One Hour Self Tan Mousse, but unfortunately, it completely missed the mark. I followed the instructions carefully the first time I used it. The first time, I waited the full hour before rinsing and saw absolutely no color payoff… my skin looked exactly the same. I gave it a second chance by waiting 3 hours, and this time I noticed a light tan before showering, but as soon as I rinsed off, it completely disappeared. It was like I never applied anything at all. For a product marketed as “tan AF,” I expected much more staying power and effectiveness. Sadly, I won’t be giving it a third try. Definitely not worth the time or money in my experience.

Not sure why everyone is saying it doesn't smell. It absolutely does. But that's to be expected. It has an indicator color so you can tell where you applied it and make sure it's even. The mitt helps with this too. I leave it on for 2 hours and rinse off. I try to avoid a real shower with any type of exfoliation (like washcloth or shave) for at least 4-6 hours. Not very dark but looks natural. Lasts about a week.

Super clean and easy application with the glove, and you just leave it on for a few hours to develop. It does not stain clothes/sheets even when it’s on. It gives a very natural looking tan that lasts up to 1-2 weeks. I love this product and will continue to use it throughout the summer!

I bought a bottle of tanned AF in Florida. WOW I looked so tan, more than a Floridian!! When I came home to Maryland they could not believe how tan I was!! Great product. If you want a fast, grab a bottle of TANNED AF

The color is rich without being orange, and it came with a mitt to keep my hands clean. It’s way less streaky than most self tanners I’ve tried—just make sure to apply it evenly and let it develop. I’d fully dry for a few minutes before moving on. Easy to use and gives that just-back-from-vacation glow! It also extends your vaca glow.
