Set of 4 Camden Wood Slat Back Dining Chairs - Buylateral

Loved the style and color of these chairs. Bought 4 chairs July 2024. Assembled with moderate difficulty. Didn't use them oftem. Leg broke on one and my husband fell onto the floor. Can't return bcs the defect became apparent after Target's 90 return policy. The supplier, Buy Lateral, says: "I am so sorry that you are experiencing issues with this product. Unfortunately, we cannot provide you with any monetary compensation as we were not a part of the transaction with you and Target." Arrrgggh. Very unhappy!

Within 3 months of purchasing & using the chairs, 3 of them had legs break off. Would not recommend.

Set of 4 chairs at a too good to be true price. The wood split while assembling. Within a month, the paint was chipping off. We had broken chairs within 5 months with minimal use. Its so embarrassing to have company sit down at your new table for dinner and a chair crack and break. If you decide to ignore my warning, get chair pads to make them comfortable and a warranty cause you’ll be replacing them soon

Very cheap and flimsy, broke a leg the second my husband (150lbs) sat down.

After reading some of the reviews I wasn't sure about my purchase. However, for my table the chairs were just what I wanted at the right price.

Chairs arrived in great condition and were packed well, it was super easy to identify parts and assemble. Assembly was a MAJOR pain though and took about 20 to 30 minutes per chair (assembly instructions warn about this assembly time). Luckily, my husband had a ratcheting allen wrench and that helped tremendously. We purchased the blue chairs and love the color! Overall, I recommend as an affordable dining chair.

Wish Icould give a zero star review. These are total junk. Paint is shoddy, they take at least twice as long to put together as they should,and the first time we used them for dinner (tonight)one of them broke as it was being pulled up to the table. They go back tomorrow! Don’twaste Your time or your money on these.

The color is on point and a really pretty gray however the chairs themselves are TERRIBLE. One pair of legs were completely broken in half just upon opening the box. One of the backs was all scratched up. One of the middle beams was missing part of the wood and obviously the paint. The actual seats had no holes in order to screw them to the rest of the chair- not one of the seats had them! From the one that I actually put together (without the seat), it was not sturdy and looked like a jr. sized chair and very, very cheap. I buy just about everything from Target and have never had to write a poor review but this is probably the worst purchase I've ever made. Do not buy these chairs!

Nice white color, chair seems pretty cheaply made though. Sturdiness is questionable. I wouldn’t think these would make it more than a year without breaking

I love the look of this set. When assembled they looked even more fantastic in my kitchen beside my wood table. The assembly wasn't very hard, I would say maybe more like moderate. They hold up really well and they feel sturdy.

They are good sturdy chairs. 35 screws to assemble. One of our tops has a nick in the back. Debating on changing it.

I am really enjoying these chairs! Very sturdy. Easy to put together. Great color! (blue) Our budget was tight - but I was able to purchase these chairs at a great price - and jazz up our dining area and kitchen just like that!

We had to return the chairs before I could even put them together. Several pieces were cracked and would have broken easily.

I was very excited about the look of these chairs! I purchased the bright yellow color. The color of the chairs is not as it appears in the small online photo. In person they look more like a light color wood that has been stained to where you can still see the wood grain through the paint, rather than being painted in a solid color. This was not the look I was going for. The chairs also took a good deal of time to build, but for the price I think they are a decent value and seem sturdy. I haven't decided if I will return based on color, since I do like the design, I may paint them instead.

I was disappointed because I wanted bright yellow chairs and these were a sort of yellow-ish light wood. Also a lot of parts to put together. We returned them.

I live in a house with a few roommates and wanted to have chairs that were very low cost but that I could comfortably sit at. These are the perfect chairs with those requirements. I looked many places and these were one of the few options I had that were under $50 a chair, and they were by far the cutest. At the time of purchase the blue color was on sale so I went with that option. Its a nice blue-- very bright, I was fearful that it would be a dated color but it feels current. We have a black table and bright mint green walls. The chairs makes a bright friendly statement in the room. The materials to assemble the chairs were sub-par, the screws were cheap, I felt like they were striping as I was assembling the chair, but I was able to assemble all 4 chairs without retrieving any outside screws and they haven't fell apart yet. By the quality of the chairs, I think I will have 3-4 years of use of them before they become really wobbly or fall apart. Which I think is a great lifespan for what I paid. If I was wanting to have these chairs for life, I would expect to pay for a single chair what I paid for for all 4. I have been keeping my eye of the price of these chairs since I bought them to see if I really did get them at a good price and the price has changed a lot (mostly up) in the past few months, I think they will last 3-4 years, make sure that the price they are at purchase is a good deal for the time span.

The chairs look great in our breakfast nook! Target had them the cheapest. They're not bright bright yellow either. It took my fiancé quite a while to put them together. One of the holes wasn't drilled so I emailed the company and a replacement part was immediately sent out!
