Q: Is the lavender scent very strong? Some litters have scents that are overpowering and smell artificial.

  • A: The smell is strong but I personally prefer this litter to all other cat litters. It does not smell artificial as compared to other litters The smell does emanate through small places though. I notice the smell on my clothes when I travel somewhere else, which I think that happens with all litters in small spaces. I highly recommend this litter .

  • A: Hello Vanna, The fragrance in our lavender scented litter is made of a natural lavender oil blend that does not contain any chemicals or synthetic ingredients which often times is what makes other litters scent so overpowering! For households that are particularly sensitive to scent, the natural oil in our formula dissipates slightly over time so the scent will not overpower the room but rest assured that if the fragrance lessens our litter will still perform as it always has!

  • A: I have read reviews on other sites that say the scent is strong. I ordered a bag and you can smell the scent but I didn't find it overwhelming at all. I have the litter box in a small room and it just gives off pleasant scent. I recommend it.

  • A: I use this formula in the laundry room litter box. The only time I really notice the lavender odor is when I am scooping the litter box. I was using the unscented formula in the red bag, but this one does a better job on eliminating the poop smell. And it is doesn’t generate much dust. I am very satisfied with it.

    Worst for Dust allergies

    If you have severe dust allergies I would highly recommend you NOT get this litter. It should be illegal to claim it’s low dust, when in reality it’s beyond dust. Dust all over my cats, the tracking is horrible, and I’m sick. This and Drelsely’s lie to our faces.

    No longer dust free, bad for cats & robotic boxes

    This litter is no longer dust free; they now leave several pounds of dust in each bag to up the weight rather than sift it out. The dust is dangerous to cats and ruins robotic litter boxes. I bought this litter for years because it was dust free, then noticed with the new packaging, my litter boxes were coated with dust, eventually ruining the sensors. All World's Best Litter used to be "dust free", now it's free of "clay dust"? What? It never contained any clay. That marketing is so deceitful, I would never trust this product again. There is a smaller, premium priced dust free variety now available, but the rest are unusable now. All for profit.

    Caused allegies and bleeding paw

    I recently switched my cat’s litter to a scented corn-based cat litter, hoping it would be a more natural and eco-friendly option compared to traditional clay litter. Corn litter is often marketed as biodegradable, lightweight, and less dusty, which are big advantages for many cat owners. However, my experience was not very positive. After switching to this litter, my indoor cat started developing irritation on her paws, and eventually the paws became raw and even bleeding. The fragrance in the litter may have contributed to the irritation, because scented litters can contain chemicals that cause skin or paw sensitivity in some cats.

    The best scent of all

    I have been using this cat litter for years and had to Order it now because for some reason they have stopped bringing it in. Not sure why because my cats love it, or maybe it’s me that loves it.

    Elderly cat approved

    My elderly cat likes this litter. She is picky now and won’t use the litter box unless I buy this litter. I also found she prefers an open box design with a step through entrance. The litter has a pleasant smell and does a good job of containing litter smells.

    Multiple cat Lavender

    The lavender scent is lovely and my cats like it too. They seem to notice the difference if I can’t get the lavender and get the unscented😁 . I’ve tried many brands\types but this works great for 4 cats!!!!

    Our Favorite Litter! We absolutely love the lavender-scented World’s Best Cat Litter! It smells amazing, clumps really well, and makes cleaning the litter box so much easier. It is on the pricier side, but I truly think it’s worth it for the quality. My cats love it too—they’re always happy with their freshly scooped litter paws! @thehousepanthers on IG

    Best cat littler I've ever used.

    This is the best litter I've ever used. I love that I can put the litter box right next to my toilet and scoop and toss the tight clumps right into the toilet and flush.

    It’s the same as smelling a bundle of lavender

    I’ve tried other brands and I didn’t like any of them. Then I found this one and it is just perfect for our cats. Not only does it have a scent that I like but it clumps together very well and is flushable for septic tanks.
