Dresser with 6 Drawers Unfinished - International Concepts: Solid Parawood Bedroom Storage

Item is damaged from two different places, also the assembling instructions are not clear enough. The backside and the base of the drawers are super cheap, not steady at all, made of a super super thin plywood.

I guess it’s hit and miss when you buy this dresser. Some dressers are complete while others are missing holes and have irregular pieces. Save yourself the trouble.

Predrilled holes do not line up, inadequate hardware

Was easier to put together than expected, the other reviews on this had me concerned. It is a lovely, sturdy piece and will last me years to come. I like the unfinished look, so I'm going to seal it with a clear varnish to keep out the dirt/stains and replace the knobs with simple gold pulls. It's a great piece and easy to adjust to your own personal style.

I painted this dresser teal and put on some of my own hardware and really love it. The quality is good and everything fit together well. Some of the gaps between the drawers are slightly uneven, but maybe only noticeable to me. My only wish is that the drawer rolling tracks felt a little sturdier. A drill was definitely necessary. I can't imagine putting this together with a screwdriver.

Completely agree with Shelly’s review. The solid wood makes this way more of a quality item than a lot of dressers on the market. The off gassing is pretty bad and wish I would have let it air out for a few days outside first before assembling inside. The drawer pulls are boring but will be fun to customize with unique ones as well as a colored stain. The directions are vague so be sure to study the pictures carefully as far as how to align the pieces and drawer system!

This dresser while solid, came with a truck load of problems. Holes drilled in the wrong places, on the incorrect sides of pieces, etc. Caused so many headaches for paying $450. Really disappointed. Won't be purchasing any furniture from Target again.

I am consistently surprised by the extent and quality of merchandise on Target.com. It is flat packed and there's a lot to put together, but my partner and I are handy and it didn't take that long. I didn't care for the off-gassing smell so I would suggest letting it air out before moving to the bedroom. The only drawback is the drawer pulls—I intend to find something more interesting that what was provided.

Really need to stain/paint this. Also no assembly directions!

The directions are very vague but it was still very easy to put together. I would definitely use a drill (directions recommend a screw driver) to put the drawers together. It's very solid and heavy.

It was good quality for the price. I stained it and put different knobs on it and it looks great! The assembly is not pretty easy if you read the directions and use a drill.

Kept debating on if I should order this dresser or not but so happy I did obsessed ❤

Love this dresser! It is solid wood, so it is heavy and makes a statement. I agree with another review that some of the directions are a little hard to understand, like which direction some pieces go when putting it together, but was able to figure it out. It did take a couple hours to put together, mostly because of the drawers. My only complaint is that when you shut the drawers, they must hit the thin board on the back of the dresser because you can hear it rattle a little. Not a reason to not buy it! We stained it to match a headboard and nightstand that we made, so it matched perfectly! We also changed the knobs on it, as we wanted a more rustic look.

This dresser is a good purchase for the price. It's solid wood, not particle board, which is the real seller. The assembly is a bit cumbersome and you'll want a drill, but if you follow the directions and set aside a few hours, you'll be set. The dresser does have a factory smell that took a few weeks to dissipate so it's nice if you can put it in a room that won't be visited much at first. Overall, we're happy with the purchase. We ended up staining the dresser rather than painting and it putting on some new funky knobs and it turned out great.

This dresser is very nice quality for the price we paid. Not particle board! It is narrow and long which is great. It doesn't stick out too far and yet there is plenty of space in each drawer. Only complaint was that my husband had to fix some of the hinges because they had been put on backwards. Relatively easy fix though and I'm very pleased with the end product. The drawers slide nicely and do not get stuck.

Purchased this for a changing table in the baby's nursery. Great quality. Real unfinished wood is easy to paint any color you prefer.

Easily the best deal out there for solid wood furniture! Everything I had browsed through was either MDF (low $) or way out of my price range - this was a very nice find. The package did arrive a bit damaged, but the pieces were in pristine shape. Expect to spend about 3 hours putting this together not because it's difficult, but because there are so many pieces used to build the 6 drawers. A few recommendations: 1. Use wood glue in all drill/dowel holes and all flat surfaces where you've jointed the wood. It is a bit wobbly, but this ensures that the dresser is solid. 2. Double-check that your gliders are all facing the correct direction. I made this mistake with the center piece, but it was easily resolved by flipping the gliders around. 3. I ran into some trouble with step 1 (fitting the center piece to the top/bottom of the dresser). The center piece screws UP into the bottom rather than than down through the top of the bottom. Confusing statement if you're not looking at the dresser/directions, but hopefully this helps someone that's stumped. Overall, an absolute steal for a piece of solid, hardwood furniture!

I bought 2 of these dressers for my kids' rooms. We didn't want cheap particleboard that off gasses, and something that would last. These arrived without any damage and I was excited to see everything was real wood. The dressers were fairly easy to assemble and once together, look great! The drawers slide real nice and don't stick or get crooked like cheap dressers. I have yet to paint them, but they look nice as natural wood right now. I got these at a great price too during one of their furniture sales. (Other websites sell these for a lot more.) I'm waiting for another sale and I'm going to buy the tall chest of drawers like these for the master bedroom.

I had this item shipped and didn't realized it arrived Completely broken until about step 6 of putting it together. Very frustrating to say the least. The wood was broken and split and it looked liked it was actually packed that way, not due to the shipping. Not well made at all and for the price absolutely not worth it. I don't recommend this product and would give it negative stars if possible.
