    Not what I expected for the price

    Item arrived with a crack at the bottom of the lamp, near the back. The weight and everything internal to the lamp was falling out of the bottom where the felt was trying to hold in a very heavy weight it couldn't support. The color of the wood stain is not anything like the photos. Very orange, not the more muted color in the photos. The lamp works, but other than that, I'm less than thrilled for a $300 purchase.

    Solid Lamp

    Guys, it’s a lamp. It lights up a room like lamps should. It’s solidly built and you can use your foot to turn it on, so you know it’s fancy. Assembly was a little weird because you have to sort of wrangle the cord through the base, but I figured it out despite being kind of an idiot.

    Contemporary

    This is tall and solid wood lamp. It's well worth the price and the only thing hard about the assembly of the lamp was getting it out of the box. I love this lamp with goes great with my contemporary furnishings.
