It has a slightly bitter finish, and I found the flavor a bit stronger than I expected. It’s not bad, just not something I would reach for every day. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lion vanilla macadamia is a light roast ground coffee. This is a very smooth tasting coffee with hints of vanilla and macadamia ….very fragrant. Smells wonderful when brewed in the mornings. Brightens my day instantly!!! I took off one star because I just wish that they made this particular coffee in a darker roast! I have always loved Lion coffees as I was introduced to the brand in Hawaii. Great coffees.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a light roast, so it isn't very bitter at all. It is smooth and nutty and you can really taste both the vanilla and macadamia flavors. The back says the perfect cup is 2 tablespoons of ground coffee to 6 ounces of water. It also says you can make iced coffee by using half the volume of water to brew coffee and add an equal amount of ice after brewing. Overall, this is really good coffee, it smells so good like a macadamia cookie, and I like the strength because it is not bitter at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made a late today and I’m in love, it’s rich and nutty. Not at all bitter, to be honest I tried it alone with just sugar and it was perfect. I almost didn’t add milk. I really liked it, I let it steam in my French press and I feel like that helped it bloom and really brought out the flavor. This was light and delightful, not intense at all.

It's a smooth coffee/vanilla scent and the taste is just as good! The only thing that I didn't like is that it has "artificial flavors".

It’s really beautifully done and I think it pairs really nicely with some oat milk creamer. I prefer it to be a lighter roast but it’s great.

We just make it as an espresso and drink it over ice and we don’t need to add anything else to it because it tastes so good as is. It’s the perfect acidity and no bitterness. It tastes like how a flavored coffee should and this flavor is delicious. I love that it’s grounded already and I would have never guessed it would be so good

It’s light and rich at the same time and you can choose to use cream or not. It has a nice nutty flavor that isn’t overpowering! Definitely something I’d buy on my own!

Despite being a light roast, it's a quite rich, with bright nutty-vanilla aroma. I was especially surprised by the signature clip used to seal the package- that's really cool! The grind was a little bit coarse for my espresso machine, but the grinder solved this problem.

The aroma is incredible right when you open the bag — sweet vanilla with that rich, nutty macadamia scent that smells like vacation in a cup. The flavor is smooth and balanced, not overpowering or artificial tasting. The vanilla is warm and creamy while the macadamia adds a subtle toasted nuttiness that pairs perfectly with milk or just black. No bitter aftertaste, even on the second cup. It brews nicely in my drip maker and makes great iced coffee too. For the price, this is seriously good quality. If you like sweet, tropical-inspired flavored coffees, this one delivers. Highly recommend!

Last year on vacation in Hawaii, I bought three bags to bring back home, but we sadly ran out. So when I got my hands on it again I was so happy!! I even had to pull out my Hawaii mug to drink it!! The flavor is perfect balance of the vanilla macadamia; not too intense, just enough. It’s not acidic and has a smooth taste. It’s not too strong , you can add more grounds if you need that stronger brew. My preference is to keep it a lighter brew. If you ever find this coffee on the mainland, grab it!!
