Description
The Impressions Bark 50 Gallon Rain Saver is perfect for virtually any home. Its appearance emulates the rough texture of a large tree trunk, and with a deep welled top, you can plant an array of flowers or even a small herb or vegetable garden. The top also includes the Good Ideas original, integrated channel that automatically diverts overflow to the front of the barrel and keeps your foundation from flooding. The large opening can be used for 2x3 or 3x4 downspouts and is covered with a soft, fine mesh, plastic screen that keeps out heavy debris. Also included with the barrel are two sturdy brass spigots to install in the offset spigot locations.

The polyethylene seam broke apart after 3 years, leaking everywhere. The barrel was completely stationary and protected from the weather. Target won't accept a return or replacement. I would avoid this product.

I purchased 8 of these last year and they came in really handy earlier this year when we went 21 days without rain. I have 4 on a downspout and the other 4 are currently used for transferring water. I am contemplating adding more of these to my yard. I use a water pump for watering my garden and am very happy with the results. I did have some issues trying to insert the spigots with enough plumbers' tape and not crossing-threading them, but after practicing a few times all 16 spigots are installed without any leakage!! Love these and am waiting for a great sale to get more.

The faucets fit the pre drilled holes but they DO NOT have enough horizontal length to be able to turn off/ion once they’re attached. It looks good, but that isn’t enough to increase its rating.
