If your idea of fun is assembling Ikea bookcases, then you'll be happy with this umbrella stand. I'm not as handy, and it took me 1.5 hours to figure out how to put this thing together. And even then, there was a leg loose that I couldn't figure out how to fix. Nevertheless, it's much nicer than the other metal umbrella stand that seems to be for sale everywhere else and has reviews saying that it rusts. I'm happy with this stand, because it's in a spot where I shouldn't have to move it for years and years, and it holds both regular-size umbrellas and compact folding ones.

Great Stick Holder
It went together very easily. It is well constructed and sturdy. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a cane, umbrella or walking stick holder. I have a number of 4 to 6 foot walking sticks. It's perfect for them. I purchased two of them.

Holes don't line up
It looks like they sent 2 sides from one design and 2 sides from a different design because the holes don't line up. Even drilling new holes wouldn't work because the horizontal boards would be at different heights. If this company had quality control, this would have easily been caught. Had to return it.

We're using this to hold stick horses and toy mops and brooms. It's standing string against two 2-year-olds and looks great, too. Easy to assemble and handsome design. I expect to transition it to its labeled use (umbrellas) in the future!
