Very uncomfortable. Bring back “heel pain” inserts

These inserts were very uncomfortable compared to the “heel pain” inserts that are no longer available. The part that goes under the arch is too thick and causes pain and discomfort. The heel part is too narrow and squeezes the foot too much. Bring back the old heel pain inserts please.

Not good. Painful

Hated it. Incredibly uncomfortable. My feet still hurt days later! Sticking with my other brand for sure. How do I get my money back?

Not for narrow feet!

If you have narrow feet like I do, these will not fit in your shoe. They are too wide. I tries cutting them but that did not work.

Heel and Pain insoles

Horrible "new" product. There was nothing wrong with the original Heel and Pain version. I am returning the ones I bought and have to switch to another brand, after using Dr. Scholl's for many, many years. Ver dissatisfied.

Not as good as the old ones!

These 3/4 pads used to fit all my shoes and were perfect support. The new version is very wide and very hard. Why did you change a wonderful support product. I bought 4 pairs from your site and read many other reviews from dissatisfied women.

Ouch

Stiff at heel. Instead of absorbing impact from step, the cushion's heel just adds pain.

New version is not good to put it nice.

I'm not sure why they went to this version. The older one was awesome. Never had an issue with them but these newer ones flat out hurt. DON'T BUY.

Disappointed: Hugh difference in product type

I am still trying to figure out if these are going to work out. I am really saddened to hear that the Orthotics for HEEL Pain has been discontinued and replaced with Heel & Arch. There is such a huge difference in the product. Heel pain was lightweight, Flexible and thin. Heel and Arch is thick and a much harder plastic. I don't need anything for my arch, just need for bone spur heel pain, which Heel Pain worked perfect for.

Stay away from heel damage

Destroyed my heels hiking in one day. I wore new Dr Scholls socks, and high end hiking boots. After one day, it was very painful right under my heel. I’m an experienced hiker and mountaineer. Three days after the hike, I have pictures of the bruises and large bold blisters from using these on one day hiking. My boots never gave me anything like this problem. Stay away from this product!

New version is no good

Bring back the old version. I'm scouring the internet to try to find the older version with no luck. This new version is way too thick where it ends in the middle of your foot. What were they thinking? I hope they fix it soon.

Please bring back the old version

I had been buying the old, larger, more tapered 3/4 style for years. Had eight pairs in my various shoes. These are a huge, huge downgrade. Unusable. Would buy a dozen of the old version right now if I could.

Please bring back the plain Heel Pain product.

This new version of this product is way to narrow at the heel and curved. I used to buy the Heel Pain which was softer and with less curve. I can not use this. Please bring back the Heel Pain one as the Heel and Arch is no workable to me at all.

Heels soft

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The comfort and support of these on the heel was really surprising. The fit could've been a little longer. They seem durable because it's a well known brand of Dr. Scholls. I just wish it was not just the heel area but the whole foot.

Hate this “hard plastic” new version

The older version yes had the half moon lighter moon at heel but entire rest was soft and fit perfect in any flat shoe. We wore the older version with Converse, Keds, Tom’s, and all flats with only comfort. These new ones with that awful hard plastic in the arch area HURT plus because they are so much bigger than the older version they won’t fit in most of our flats. The new hard plastic version makes arch and plantar hurt awful and get inflamed. After my daughter wore the new hard plastic version one day in her Converse she ended up with such bad plantar pain had to schedule Dr visit. Dr Scholls is suppose to be about comfort therefore bring back the comfortable old version. Please!!!!

Orthotics

Tried every orthotic over years. This is the only one that takes you from limping to walking/standing all day without pain. Must be this specific orthotic. May feel funny for about a week. Give yourself two weeks to adapt. You’ll forget it’s there and how great it works. Custom made ones never did a thing for me, tried twice thru physical therapy, expensive and poor results!

Solid, but makes shoes shallow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I still struggle with my heel spur, it did help provide pain relief. Unfortunately, the insole is much higher/thicker than the majority of my shoes can comfortably accommodate, rendering them useless in all but one pair. I'm looking for another pair to use with these and will continue to use them until my situation is rectified.
