Description

Dr. Scholl’s® Plantar Fasciitis All-Day Pain Relief Orthotics are specifically for people who suffer pain from plantar fasciitis pain in the heel. They are clinically proven, and scientifically designed and engineered to provide all-day pain relief from plantar fasciitis.

Why it Works:
Plantar fasciitis occurs when the band of tissue along the underside of your foot, called the plantar fascia, is overstretched and aggravates the attachment at the heel bone. This can cause pain with every step you take.
Dr. Scholl’s® Plantar Fasciitis All-Day Pain Relief Orthotics provide relief by treating the source of your pain. The insoles absorb aggravating shock impact, comfort and protect your foot with added cushioning, and support your arch to prevent the plantar fascia from stretching further so it can heal.

How to Use:
1) Your shoe’s current insoles may be removeable, if they are take them out FIRST.

2) Place the removeable insoles against the back of your Dr. Scholl’s® insole and trim to match the old insole size. If your shoes’ insoles aren’t removeable, cut to your shoe size using the trim guide found on the bottom of your insole near the toes.

3) Place insoles in your shoes’ toes first with the cloth side UP. Ensure the insole heel rests firmly in the heel of your shoe.

Recommend replacing insoles every six (6) months or at first sign of wear.

Q: I have custom orthotics but also like some cushioning on top of them. Will these work with them?

submitted by ProudMom - 2 years ago
  • A: Thank you for your question. The Dr. Scholl's Pain Relief For Plantar Fasciitis Insoles are a full-length insole and are not intended or designed to be worn over another insole.

Q: Hello, I got the Athletic Series Running Insoles and these look very similar. What is the difference between the two? And how is the arch support different from the Running insoles? Thank you.

submitted by Tania - 3 years ago
  • A: • What is the difference between the Pain Relief For Plantar Fasciitis Insoles for Women and the Athletic Series Running Insoles? Both have been clinically proven to help relieve and prevent plantar fasciitis pain from coming back. The Plantar fasciitis insole for women was tested in multiple types of shoes used in everyday activities. It is constructed specifically to manage the forces and conditions experienced by persons under daily activities and to provide improved foot comfort all day while relieving pain. The Athletic Series Running insole was specifically designed to match the foot needs and forces that occur during running. And it was tested with persons that had developed Plantar fasciitis during their running activities. It is sized for use in athletic footwear to ensure it offers heel and forefoot cushioning and high levels of shock absorption that allowed runners to keep performing their running exercise. • How is the arch support of the Pain Relief For Plantar Fasciitis Insoles for Women different from the Running insoles? Both insoles offer significant arch support with the proper level of cushioning to avoid aggravation to the arch while stopping the overstretching of the plantar fascia that contributes to Plantar fasciitis. The Athletic Series running insole is constructed with increased forefoot cushioning and increased heel shock absorption to withstand the conditions of running as well as midsole support designed to work with the demands of the running gait. Note that the design of an effective insole for plantar fasciitis also requires unique design of the heel cup to properly support and cushion the inflamed heel area that is the consequence of the irritation that occurs at the anterior portion of the heel from the plantar fascia. Both products utilize this design with the difference being greater reinforced elements for the running insole.

If you have a high instep beware. These add so much padding in the bottom that my shoes now press into the top of my foot. They seem like they help the heel pain only it's hard to tell due to the intense pain in the top of my foot. I have had the best luck with rolling my feet and stretches.

These actually made the pain worse, and even made my good foot hurt. Instead of just the first few steps being painful, every step hurt with these! Very disappointing purchase.

Plantar Fasciitis All-Day Pain Relief Orthotics

The insole itself works better in some shoes and not so well in others. I bought 3 pairs of these insole after going through the website's insole adviser. Disappointingly, it did not suggest to buy a 3-pack which is a lot cheaper than 3 individual pairs. So, I ended up paying too much!

There's a reason to buy a proven name brand. These are the BEST. I have very little heel pain after wearing them for less than 2 weeks. Remarkable. Tried lots of cheaper alternatives. I'm sold.

Work great and I walk about eight miles a day in them. No issues with my feet until they get worn out (about every 4 months or so) and then I change them out.

These have been the best insoles I have found in helping to prevent my Plantar fasciitis - even better than my orthotic $100 ones. They hold up well too. I’ve had to replace other brands after about 6 months in a pair of shoes I don’t wear as often as the pair I have these in and they’re going on a year strong and not needing replacing. I actually just purchased more of these to replace the other brand.

I guess I have heel spurs as I have stabbing pain at my heel when I walk. I bought these and inserted them in NB sneakers. I went for a walk and they helped me walk a fair distance without real discomfort, I was able to walk my dog without being in pain. I am in my mid 60's.

Amazing insert! I only needed one for my left foot, but it saved me while walking around Universal Studios Orlando for three days. When I used it on the other foot, it hurt really badly (because I didn't need it), but it saved my other foot from the worst pain. 10/10 recommended!

Hard to cut insert to fit shoe size but that is because they are thick and that thickness is what protects my plantar fascia during indoor volleyball. The inserts, icing, and the foot exercises are helping a lot to reduce pain.

These inserts were less than satisfactory. They actually made my heel pain worse. After a placing them in my hiking crossovers and working around the house for 5 hrs. or so, my heel pain was so bad I had to take them out for both feet.

No arch support

Caitlin - 1 year ago, Verified purchaser
I have high arches and was hoping for some insoles to make my shoes more comfortable for long walks. These have basically no real arch support - it’s somewhat raised on the arch side but not firm enough to withstand any amount of weight or pressure. Returning them unfortunately.
