Q: Are they small size bites?

submitted by ShopaLot - 2 years ago

  • A: Thank you for your interest in our recipe. Great question! Purina ONE SmartBlend True Instinct Natural Real Salmon & Fish Flavor Dry Dog Food contains a variety of kibble shapes—a golden brown, triangle-shaped kibble measuring approximately 3/8 to ½ inch in size, along with irregularly shaped tender meaty morsels. This recipe provides complete and balanced nutrition for the maintenance of adult dogs, with real salmon as the #1 ingredient, plus real tuna and Omega-6 fatty acids to help support a radiant coat and healthy skin. Q: Has Purina does statistics on groups of dogs that have shown great health benefits to this food?

submitted by Vanessa - 2 years ago

  • A: Thanks for reaching out, and we apologize for delayed response. Each pet food we make meets federal (FDA) and state regulatory standards before it gets anywhere near your pet’s bowl. At Purina, we see industry standards as just a starting place. Not only do all of our products meet these standards- but also most of them go beyond them, voluntarily following the Association of American Feed Control Officials’ (AAFCO) guidelines, which encourage pet food companies to conduct feeding trials to ensure their foods result in positive outcomes for pets. We do all of this to provide optimal nourishment for pets. You may find the AAFCO statement by clicking this link: https://www.purina.com/dogs/shop/purina-one-true-instinct-high-protein-real-salmon-tuna-dry-dog-food. Working on our skin issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We usually use the venison flavor bc my American bully is allergic to Beef products. When the season changes her allergies go crazy. Hoping this product will help bc of the fish oil from the salmon and tuna.

    My chiweenie will eat this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have finally found a dog food—and I’ve tried fresh foods from different companies and had to donate it all—but finally tried this. This is my 3rd bag. He will eat it dry if I have not fed him any pieces of my food. I have found if I chop up a boiled egg and add 1/2 to one piece of Purina bacon and mix it up, he will eat every bite. He would sniff any of the fresh foods I tried and backed away…I even tried a can of (people food) chicken, tuna—he will not touch it.
