Quality dog food at a reasonable price. My dog loves it, his coat is shiny and his poops are healthy and small!! (He’s an 80 lb chocolate lab)

My dog has always had itchy skin, and recently the vet has recommended I try something with simple ingredients such as salmon and rice. So this is the perfect option! I love that the first ingredient is real salmon, which is a great source of protein for my dog's muscles and organs. It also includes omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which are great for his skin and coat and can help with feeling itchy. Also, there are vitamins, minerals, and prebiotic fiber to support his gut health. My dog immediately started to eat when I presented him with this new food, and he has had no adverse effects in any way, and when I initially started to mix this with his previous dog food to switch him over, I noticed he was picking out pieces of this food over his previous kibble! This showed me that he prefers it over what he was eating prior. I will definitely be buying this for him from here on out. I've noticed a significant difference in his coat and how much he has been scratching! I also love that a portion of every purchase goes to the Rachael Ray foundation to help animals in need!

My dog seemed to enjoy the taste and had no issues eating it. However, after reviewing the ingredient list more closely, I found several ingredients that I personally prefer to avoid in my dog's diet, including corn, soybean meal, and corn protein meal. While the food appears to provide balanced nutrition and may work well for many dogs, I tend to look for recipes with simpler ingredient lists and fewer fillers. For that reason, I don't see myself purchasing this product again, despite my dog enjoying it. Overall, it may be a good option for pet owners looking for an affordable salmon-based kibble, but it doesn't fully align with my preferences for ingredient quality.

No tummy upset during the transition. While it is a little stinky and gave her bad breath, I'm sure it's because of the real salmon and quality ingredients.

Since I switched to this one, she goes crazy for it, in a good way. She loves it and has now demanded this is her new food of choice. It seems to be easy on her teeth and she loves it! However, once I was able to, both of my dachshund's absolutely loved it! My boy dog loves anything and everything salmon, so it was right up to his tastes. My girl dachshund just loves food! The smell was very strong, so that was a con for me, but my dogs loved it. We did mix it with their current food for no tummy upsets, but I have added this to their current dry food.

They both seemed to really enjoy the Nutrish Real Salmon, Veggies & Brown Rice Recipe Dry Dog Food. The transition was easy, no issues and they seemed to have way less gas and stinky bowels. I like that it includes veggies and brown rice, and the kibble size worked well for both of them despite their size difference. The food smelled fresh, the bag was easy to store, and overall I was happy with the quality. Most importantly, my dogs were excited for mealtime and cleaned their bowls consistently, which says a lot in this house. From what I recall seeing at stores, Nutrish recipe dry dog foods is reasonable priced for the value and taste, (according to my dogs). They carry numerous sizes so if you're considering changing, start with a smaller bag to see if your fur baby adjusts well. Overall, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try, especially for multi-dog households with different breeds and sizes. Nutrish Real Salmon, Veggies & Brown Rice Recipe Dry Dog Food is now our go to brand for our home and I'm excited to try other flavors down the road. Good balance of nutrition and ingredients you can pronounce. This food was easy to digest for my pets. You could really tell a difference in their coats, and bathroom habits. If you're personally sensitive to smells this might not be a good fit as it does have a strong scent. A great choice!

I have two dogs: one that is a very picky eater and one that is allergic to most chicken based dog foods. I like the small kibble size since my dogs find them easier to eat. I also liked the different colored kibbles, because they visibly show the difference in ingredients. Unfortunately, neither of my dogs really loved the food. Since I introduced it slowly by mixing it half and half with their current dog food, I could see where my picky eater selected our old food over the Nurish brand. I am sorry this won't be a regular part of their diet.

We put a little in their food and they picked this one out. We wanted to get them used to the new food and I can't say enough about it! Smaller pieces, devoured, great packaging and easy to open.
