Each Adapt™ Adjustable Wreath Hanger is made from premium grade all season metal which is designed to withstand the elements. The sturdy metal construction will support heavy wreaths up to 20 lbs. There’s no installation required; simply slide the hook over the door (up to 1.8 inches thick), adjust the length by pushing on Haute Decor’s proprietary slide mechanism and adjust the hanger to your liking. The hanger adjusts easily and extends from 16.5” to 25” making it appropriate for doors of nearly any size. Special pads on the back protect your door from scratches. This door hanger does not work for taller entry doors. You have to extend it as far as it goes, it becomes flimsy, and is still not long enough. If you have a seven foot entry door it would probably be perfect. I do not.
