  • A: I believe you refer to labels that are stuck to our furniture. Proposition 65 is a far reaching law in California which requires manufacturers based in California to put this warning label on their products. This warning label can be found on many kind of products, such as electrical wires, jewelry, padlocks, dishes, and flashlights to name just a few. It doesn't mean that the furniture actually causes cancer; it just says that a chemical formaldehyde is used in manufacturing the furniture and may cause cancer (e.g., if swallowed). Our furniture is compliant with California 93120 for formaldehyde phase 2. 93120 is about how much formaldehyde is off gassed from a product at 73 degrees. California has very strict rules when it comes to manufacturing home use products and our furniture is compliant with all of them. None of our products contain the chemical combinations to activate a harmful effect. However, we are still required by state law to provide the warning.

Sitting on it now!

This is an easy piece of furniture to put together. Took me less than 15 minutes, and most of that was me being uncoordinated to line up the bolts to the slots. Comfy, neutral and takes up just enough space where it will fit adult me comfortably and I can move it easily across the room if needed.

The disappointment is real!!!! I feel like I was punked! We put this together and ended up with something that looked liked my dog or toddler would enjoy it!!!! It is low to the ground and looks very cheap!!!! Keep your money in your pocket!!!!

Mixed review

AThe garnet red is more of a cranberry and it makes it look cheap, the velvet is more of a crushed velvet which also cheapens the look. It is a small chaise. I also bought the C Knight Bowie Modern Glam couch and love it the black velvet on this doesn’t look like crushed velvet .

Waste of money!

Worst piece of furniture I’ve ever bought! It’s super small. The color is definitely darker in person. It’s completely hollow with no support I was scared to have anyone sit one it. The back piece, legs and hardware come inside the hollow seat. When you remove it expired oses the very cheap wood used to make this! I have to find a way to return this immediately!
