Q: 1. How do you remove the letter size black bar to utilize the legal size files? 2. Are the drawers removable once installed?

  • A: Please note that we do not recommend you take the drawer apart. If you would like to use the drawer merely for legal size folders you can still do so as long as you installed the double rods on the opposite end and simply disregard the other rod. As for removing the drawer from the unit, this can be done indeed. Hope this helps.

Not worth it

It was not very easy to assemble . Had a weird smell- could smell it in the entire house. Putting the file drawers in was a nightmare- drawers are difficult to move. Would not recommend .

I wouldn't even give these 1 star!

We ordered 3 of these cabinets, and they all came damaged and broken! DO NOT ORDER THESE! Waste of money, we will be returning them. Here is a list of what we found in the boxes: Legs broken, drawers broken, greasy handprints stuck in the paint, scratches all over surfaces, missing screws, pieces that dont fit together, looks like they drilled in the wrong places and then plugged the holes, pilot holes not finished being drilled through...just a freaking disastrous mess!

A challenge to assemble

A challenge to put together -- I had to start over at one point bc the instructions were not clear so I put on a board backwards -- but a nice cabinet for the price. My printer fits on top of it perfectly and the small drawer is perfect for extra paper, etc..

Just what I wanted

I was looking for a file cabinet that didn't look like a big, rectangle, office file cabinet. This piece is perfect! I was able to put the cabinet together pretty easily. Only tool needed was a phillip screwdriver.

Do not buy

Broken at multiple places where there is a groove to insert thin panel. Can’t trust the material tonhold weight of files. Paint work on top is not matching rest of the cabinet.

Do not Purchase

The cabinet appears to be good but when you start putting it together you find cracks at the dado cuts. The metal rods for hanging your file envelopes are not welded correctly and don't line up making it impossible to square the drawers your trying to glue. No quality assurance inspections during manufacturing.
