Q: why does the product say 22g of protein per serving, but the label shows 1 serving is 100 cal & 11g of protein? Is that not 22g of protein for 2 servings?

  • A: In one 14oz package there are 3.5 servings per container, at 4 ounces (112 grams) per serving. One serving (4oz) has 22 grams of protein! Since there are 3.5 servings, the entire package has 77 grams of protein!

I bought this to make Philly cheese steaks. I thought it would be thinly sliced like sandwich steaks. It was just a bunch of little pieces of beef, obviously shaved super thin. The taste was okay, not great. All the little pieces stuck together, in the package and during cooking, making it hard to work with. Overall, it was just a big mess to work with and to eat on a sandwich. Will not purchase again!

Just mush, yuck!

This product was a complete disappointment. We purchased two packages and cooked one for dinner. As soon as I opened the package, it was obvious something was wrong. The product was extremely mushy and lacked any structure, making it impossible to prepare as intended. The only way it could be cooked was by breaking it apart and treating it like hamburger. Unfortunately, cooking did not improve the texture. It remained mushy and unappetizing, resulting in a poor meal that no one enjoyed. This was not at all what was advertised or what we expected when we made the purchase. Given the quality of the product we received, I cannot recommend it and will not be purchasing it again.
