A: Our Dark Chocolate Flavored Melting Wafers are formulated with high quality ingredients but because the recipe does not include cocoa butter, it is not considered chocolate.  Instead, it is called a compound coating.  It is for this reason that “tempering” is not required prior to dipping.  All you must to do is melt the coating and dip your favorite snacks or fruits in it for great results.  Also, because it is not considered chocolate, we do not list cacao content.
