A: There are no existing industry standard methods for measuring the maximum weight-bearing capacity of most residential furniture products. As you know, Ashley Furniture Industries only produces goods for residential use. As the load that our products can bear is dependent on so many independent variables (static load, force, movement, placement of the weight, and design, to name a few) there is no accurate way for us to state the maximum weight-bearing capacity.

Low material quality. Screw holes don’t line up right, very strong odor of paint & chemicals, for this kind of money, it’s cheap craftmenship for an Ashley’s store. I def am returning.

This is a terrible table. It looks nice from a distance but that's it. We received 3 different ones because each one was damaged and warped. EACH ONE! The quality control on this is terrible and much less than you would expect from Ashley. We ended up keeping one only because we pretty much got refunded most of the cost. Each of the table tops were warped badly. This caused the legs to not seat properly and left large gaps. On top of this, each of the 3 tables had chips and white spots on it and has since developed more. We had to use a sharpie to try to cover the spots. I have little hope for this table looking good for long. Stay away from this and find a different table!
