I really liked this whisky . It’s smooth and easy to drink, with a slight sweet taste and a warm finish. I noticed hints of caramel and vanilla, and . Not too strong, not too light .

I stole some of this out of my grandfather’s liquor cabinet when I was 19 and the only downside was it gave me a taste for the finer, smoother things in life. 😌

I have tried so many of the Glenlivets, and I always back to the 14-year-old...smooth, oaky, and just a hint of sweetness.

I absolutely love The Glenlivet 14 Year-Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky. It’s smooth, rich, and incredibly easy to drink perfect for any occasion. I always keep a bottle in my cabinet because it never disappoints. The flavor is beautifully balanced, and it’s especially enjoyable served over ice. A truly refined whisky good stuff all around!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried something new this week and wow… The Glenlivet 14 Year Old Single Malt Scotch definitely surprised me🥃 First off, the bottle is gorgeous. The deep purple label totally stands out on the shelf (apparently it’s a nod to the Cognac cask finish, which makes sense because this one has a little extra richness to it). When I poured my first glass, the color was this beautiful golden amber that already looked like it had a story to tell. On the nose, I got fresh fruit vibes — pear and peach — but then it shifted into honey, vanilla, and even some raisin sweetness. The first sip was so smooth and creamy. Orchard fruit at the start, then deeper flavors like plums, honey, and even a little chocolate with warm spice in the background. Balanced and super easy to drink. I tried it neat, with a splash of water, and even over one big ice cube… all worked, but neat was my fave. Honestly, this feels like the perfect “step up” bottle — approachable but classy. I always have the 14, 15, 18 and 21 year Glenlivet in my home bar. They are smooth and refreshing drink. The year that I drink depends on my mood. Great mood the 21 always wins. Glenlivet is the only Scotch I drink home and out.

I prefer the 14 over the 12 primarily because of the initial taste. But the lingering taste is also smoother than the 12. When I’m flush with spending money, I splurge for the 18.

Such a pleasant, and bright drink. Very smooth and soft on the palate. Its carries hints of spiced oak and creamy vanilla.

I started drinking this during the pandemic after being a loyal G12 drinker for a lot of years. I did taste tests with G12, G14, G15, G18 and G21. I actually like the 14 better than any of them (although lets face it, the 21 is pretty great, but I reserve that for very special occasions). Many bars and restaurants only have the 12, and I’m fine with that, but I buy 14 for my home.
